Transforming Your Current Business Into Your Perfect Business

Whether you are already in business or not consider the story I shared with you in this video and relate it to your day to day experience of the business you really want to have.

The ability to observe these distinctions and then take action to create better alignment with your interests and desires is a vital skill to cultivate in the process of transforming your current business into your perfect business.

Do you notice tasks or activities that are in conflict with what you really want to do each day?

Can you think of any ways you could re-organize your business so these tasks were either eliminated all-together or allocated to someone else?

Do you notice tasks or activities you would like to do more of but can’t or don’t?

Can you think of any ways you could re-organize your business so you could invest more of yourself doing them?

When you do, you will experience an immediate increase in success.

I look forward to reading your comments and answering any questions you might have.

I’m standing for all that is possible for you in life and business.

Sincerely,

Steve

  1. Steve:This is a great insight. Understanding the differences between the principle parties of the business, and their respective goals and visions for that business, is critical to success. Otherwise, the principle parties will inevitably end up in a proverbial “tug-of-war” match, in which case the business’s growth will ultimately come to a halt.

  2. Steve;Welcome Back!I love the fact the you emphasized the point that neither is wrong, and that they are both exactly right.  This introduces an aspect of your program that really increases the speed at which success can happen.  The insights that I have discovered about myself have enlightened me toward the understanding that everyone I connect with is dealing with similar issues.  I have become more empathetic, a better listener, and a better leader because of the lessons you have taught me.  All the while becoming clearer on my vision and knowing that it can exist in any circumstance. Moreover, the lessons are universal so I now enjoy the same benefits in my presonal relationships as well.  I am a better father, husband, and son.

  3. Steve – I think that most all good business proprietors and entrepreneurs are consistently looking to improve and grow their businesses.  It is insights like the one you mention Victoria experienced that better enable business owners to know what exactly they need to do to improve their value.  The more you know about what you and your partners do best, the better you understand how to provide that value and grow the business.  This is great stuff!  Thank you.

  4. Steve, I have  a very interesting observation. I am approaching the age of retirement (60) and I have this strong desire to be an entrepreneur. However, my wife is against anything I do that will not bring in a stable income. One that she can rely on and count on being there. I have had several job failures for one reason or another and I feel it is time to strike out on my own so as not to be under someone elses thumb. could you give some instruction to me about this? So far, all the videos are great.

  5. Steve, Iam writing from Nigeria. The Perfect Biz Finder Entrepreneurial Strengths Survey Report is quite a must have for every one – both those already in business and about to start. I am working on a business planning book and would like to use taking the survey as a tool for marketing it. The book will be ready in the next four months. Let us partner. I want to know your terms.

  7. Hi Steve,     Hello and how are you?  I am more of an entrepreneur than a proprietor.  I like to be the one that expands the business.  Thanks,Damon

  8. I would add that the contrasting perspectives of Entrepreneurs and Proprietors – especially as they relate to prospects for the efficacious coexistence of those in positions of executive authority and of owners sharing an interest in an organization - if unrecognized and unaddressed, impart potential for not only conflict and disharmony, but could actually affect a ‘culture of discontinuity’ through which the organization may be severely harmed or destroyed from within.

  9. I am with Brian.  About to retire.  Want to change course.  But wife wants me to stay as long as possible because of the “secure” income to pay off life’s mortgages. And, of course, there is a lot of negativity about my being unable to start a business at my age.  But I have no passion for what I am now doing. :(

Hi Bill – Say, my best buddy in high-school when to Emory. How about that?

Ok, I understand this challenge. Let me take it in reverse order.

Why would you want to work (and live) without passion? Surely you can see that ‘job security’ is an illusion used solely by corporations for the benefit of corporations.

That said, I can absolutely understand how your wife feels too. So why not start now developing your business concept while you continue to work. ThePerfectBizFinder Program will put you on track inside of 30 days and, depending on what business you choose, you can be up and running profitably inside of 2 months. Once your income grows sufficiently, if you still want to, you kiss your boss goodbye and pursue your passion full time.

Here is one of my favorite stories to illustrate: http://www.championsuccess.com/murphyslaw.html

Please forgive the disorganized state of the web site itself, it is still under construction.

I look forward to helping you get what you want.

    Sincerely,

    Steve

  11. Steve,It seems to me that I am presently a proprietor but as my business grows, I would think an entrepreneur would seem more effective. Is there a method in your system that gives direction on how to switch? Thanks,Jim Body

  12. Without jocking, Steve, I have just found out that going over everything again is a real eye-opener. I just glanzed over the “Report” and was amazed at what I read again.  So many things just hit the nail on the head…..just have to get the wooden block where the nail gets hammered into!Looking over some of the videos again to refresh my memory reveals new insight.I am trying to work in the affiliate direction. No success, but it does not worry me so much at the moment, because I realise I have so much to learn. Now, hitting your Site over BN I think I am right at the beginning. For some time now I have watched others move on and keep thinking I have not found the missing link. Actually, I have been on your Blog for a few hours now…thank you also for answering my payment question so quickly……and am getting more and more excited. I have a whole lot of puzzle pieces….I hope you will be the puzzle builder. Somewhere it must all fit together so that I get some response.Looking at my daily life (offline) there seems to be a lot of potentiel….but I do notfind the starting point (the wooden block). Oh, Victoria, give me some of your insight :-) I want it to succeed.Have a great rest of the day….we are going off for the night here!Shall catch up on the rest tomorrow…my day-kids are on holiday.

  13. Extremely insightful!  I found out that both my partner and I are really proprietors. We both love freedom. We both love to have our hands “in it”. We have the correct business configuration (partnership), but I am handling an area where I need more education in order to be successful. The learning curve in this business, I found out too late, is extremetly steep and ignorance has cost us hundreds. We lost everything.   I’m now looking for employment to help bankroll us, because It cost more than I was led to believe when I bought in. However, I’m no longer depressed and discouraged about it  but I’m forgetting about making any profits from this one for just now. What I learned from you gives me hope. I plucked up some faith even in poverty and am on the hunt for the education I need at the price I can find free or barter for.

  14. Hey there Steve,I have also used these videos and lessons you have presented to improve my information brokerage business.  I will watch your videos over and over so that I understand the ideas you put forth.  I want to personally thank you for all your help and insights.  I find it amazing that when ever I have a question you seem to answer it in the next video.  Again thank you.

  15. Hi Steve,You hit the nail on the head for me.  On one hand I am very much a prorieter, hands on etc.  On the other I do sales and business management.  My wife does the office side.  The problem we are having with growth is the cost of hiring people to do what I do (hands on) and the added sales to cover the overhead.  We must move forward otherwise all I have is a JOB that we own.  I’m 61 and can’t make enough to retire at the pace I’m going. Thanks to the economy our business is down 40%, about the industry average.  There is an old saying “if you keep on doing what you’ve always done expecting different results you’re not too bright”, or is that stupid?Looking to the future, Alan

  17. Steve, I have had a business failure in the past.  The business involved buying and selling and by my quiet disposition and my background I do not see myself doing wellin that.  I am well placed to do internet business and I want to kick off.  My limitation however is that I do not know how to go about it.  Is there anything you can do for me to take off.  Moreover, all I have been reading on the internet when I get to the point I think I am making a headway, they demand huge sum of money.  I am sceptical about parting with money.  Please help out.  You can send me a separate email on this.

  18. Hi Steve,     I dont, know where to start, If you look at my site you will see it still needs work. The point is that I read about someone that got slaped by google. Google told them if they wer not happy that they should try a diffirent way to advertise, “I have that”.It is ever expanding. ” Sounds cool , don’t it? “ Every placemat has 16 business’s on it. I want to give my program away for free. I want the people doing it to stay with me. Most people doing this at the time are only getting pd. for an add, but they don’t have one of there own. It should be on all they do .  I know a guy that has 15. Do the math. Free advertising for anything you want on the net. Think about what I want to do and get back with me. OK.  I need you as a trainer for them and all those business contacts. Do you see where I am going?  How many restaurants are doing this? This is just an outline of what I am up to.   ” I will work for this ” 24 hr. a day .  This is my dream. I am 59 years old and this is . IT    Think about this .  OK?  Can you see where it could go?  Look at  my site and leave me a note or send to tomsavage59@msn.com.   actionmatadvertisingallianc.com.  Thank you for all. Thomas Savage. I wish you the best.

  19. Hi Steve, I still do not know what I am doing comenting on this site. But you seem to be helping people looking for answers for there buisness need’s. I have tryed diffrent buisnesses in the past where I had to sell product’s or service. While still holding a full time job. Was unable to relise any real succus in any of the diffrent attempts. Befor I retired at the age of sixty two I managed to purchase an older Case 530 Backhoe frontend loder, a three axle used utility trailer and a 1963 Chevy Dump truck to start a exavation buisness. Started with out being licenses or bonding or insurance. Made some money but still was unable to finance the cost to become legal and have the protection for my buisness. So after setting around getting lasy and out of shape. Desided to try online or the web for a buisness SPENT THOUSAND’S and still nothing to show for it. I have a lot to learn even after twelve months on the last system that I bought. All of the information is in five diffrent notebook binders but I find myself getting discouraged and flustrated with my self becaus I just can not seem to bring everything togather to make it work. Even with tolfree phone help and dvd’s that came with the study material’s. I am thinking maybe it just isnt ment for me to have an online buisness. Then I think why not other people can learn what is needed to susceed why not me. Can you or your team help some one like myself with my learning curve. thank you James Ross PS keep up the good work with the helpful information. And have happy holiday’s

  20. The author of http://www.theperfectbizfinder.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: In any given group of friends, there is always one who never has money to buy his own beer. Thanks for the info.

  21. Like the other videos I enjoyed listening to your knowledge about business. This video strikes me a little different because it makes me think but not enough.  I really just didn’t know where to go with it.  But I’ll say this in closing evidently you have to communicate all aspect of your business, and go over what you don’t think you need to go over.  For me I think it involves reading and writing which I’m practicing now. I think these excerises will bring out your creativity and make you realize where your not as suppose to where you are.

  22. what if you have a conflict inside yourself over whether you crave proprietorship or entrepreneurship. what if you fussily want the best of both worlds? ah, how is that perfect to be found and still be relaxed enough to be thoroughly enjoyed.

  24. Steve,
After hearing your words today I think I may have solved my problem today also.
I have the will of a Proprieter but due to health problems I am afraid that I will have to become an entrepeneur inspite of my desire to want to do everything with the company.
My problem is fibromyalgia and it can be a very painful condition.  Prior to having this
problem I would paint the house dig in the garden and clean the garage on a regular
basis now I can barely keep my office clean. I hate to turn over any of my work to others as I am afraid it will not get done the way I want it done,  any suggestions?

This is just to say that your material has gotten me going. Yesterday I had a surprising idea for a business that feels perfect for me. It encompasses everything I’ve learned and created so far that I consider valuable. Nothing is left outside. Moreover, I have already started working on it and it feels like being alive and extended far ahead. Thank you.
