  1. Hi Steve, We are a start up company that will be making a new patented line of exercise resistance equipment. We have done our research and have great semi-virtual business model. The current economy and industry actually work in our favor. We are at the point where we need investors to take this to market My question is; I know how good of an opportunity this is but it seems that investors are being cautious to the point of paranoia. How do I infuse my enthusiasm and confidence into an investor so we can all accomplish great things? Not just in business but for the economic and moral fiber of this country.Kurt W. 2. Hi Steve,Happy Holiday Season to you and yours.I like to read your emails, your lingo talks to me, specially the one were you told your (and my story as well) about starting up the renovation business, with one difference, I have never stopped the running in circles and as a result, years of creasy life burnt me out.I know that I do not have to tell you about long hours of 7 days a week……..So I decide that enough is enough. I just cutted off. I’m a middle aged bummer who is creasy enough to think that I still can make it good in other places- like Internet Marketing. At this stage, I’m at the point where I have my Blog, which was easy to build, learning the funddamentals, creving to begin only do not know were.If there would be a guide, that walk you through step by step with value, not just the words, if not I will have to figure it out on my own.Thank for asking,Regards,Alex Ashurov

  4. Steve, I will soon be signing up for the 21 day program of assignments with the membership in the online website. I am only waiting tos complete some unfinished business so I can stay on schedule once I start your program. My major problem is finding workers who are passionate about their work and are willing to work as independent contractors while we see if our working styles are compatible and to test their knowledge and ability to produce results prior to offering them full time employment.  Many persons are unwilling to work on production even at an excellent commission; they want a paycheck but are unwilling to trust their ability to produce for earning good money. Is there a good  way to locate these persons without sapping needed cash flow from other areas of the business while they are on probation ?  I have always been willing to work for a reasonable time at low or even no pay while learning something that will be productive for me in the future. I have never been cheated by anyone to whom I have made this offer because if my work was what they needed they did not wish to lose my services at the end of the probationary period.  I have found that an honest employer will not let you waste your time but will pay what he considers a suitable fee for the work you have done even if it might not be as much as you would want.  When i have used the time learning something of value while working it is always mutually beneficial.  I understand that the money in the pay envelope is not my only remuneration since I have been allowed to learn from mistakes while the employer has covered the expenses.  I have also never been without employment for more than a week in the last fifty years. In my present business, I guarantee my work to the extent that my client pays only if he is satisfied with the finished product. If he is not, I bear the expense and I decide whether there is only a communication error that I can fix or whether the client’s expectations are beyond what I believe is reasonable. I either redo the work to his standards for the original fee or we part friends while not conducting future business with one another. Either way, what I learn is always more valuable than the money. The main thing that I respect about your business model is that you are willing to give of yourself  before expecting to receive pay from your clients. ( At least for a reasonable period. )  I am sure that what you learn is valuable to you.

  5. Dear Sir,
Can you make provision for paying through International Postal Order or other such means? Using on line payment form India is frustrating. We do not have credit cards issued like you people. It will be nice if you can suggest alternatives. Infact I was thinking of payment modes which is risk less as a great business.
    Thank you sir
    I am your avid fan

    Hi Ravi,

Thank you for your encouraging support. At this time there is no practical way to support this. We are looking at ways we can use PayPal as an alternative because it supports an electronic bank draft. However, the membership renewals present a problem for their system.

We are considering a quarterly, semi annual or annual renewal which could be processed manually by our support team.

I’d appreciate your feedback in that regard.

Thank you again for your support and consideration.

    Sincerely,

    Steve

  6. Hi Steve,
I have a few things that I would like to get off my chest. First of all is the blood letting of America. For years since NAFTA the good old USA has been getting the short end of the deal. Most of all companies have been out sourcing to other countries, leaving US workers out of jobs. Second is all the red tape that a person has to go through to even start a business. I have been trying to build my businesses for 2 years and still haven;t opened yet. I am in the hole about $375,000 dollars and barely can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Where is all this stimulus money? I know I am not a businessman and have trouble with my organizational skills. Where are the low interest loans for people starting a new business? If this country wants to get back on it’s feet we have to start from the top and work are way down. Do you honestly think that politicans care anything about the people. What happened to, (of the people, by the people and for the people?) I think that flew out the door once they get into office.
It really ticks me off when you here about the governments bail-outs and then what these companies do with the money. Why not give some of those bail-outs to people who honestly want to see this country get better. I am trying to do my best to help and yet I sometimes feel it is a futal effort! If you could just understand where I am coming from or give me some advice that would keep me going that would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank You
    Mark

  7. I was once a successful copy writer, with my own business online. Then someone who I care nothing about decided to launch a slander campaign against me that ruined my business. This person actually joined networking groups to have access to my associates and wrote to them very hateful things. Since then my business has gone bust. How can I recover from such a thing when the law won’t go after her.

  8. Dear Steve,
Though I connected with you a little while back and received your email advice, I have not used the information.  I have a system where I store messages from you and other trainers like Eben Pagan, Rich Scheffren, etc.   I inadvertently deleted these folders and cannot recover them.   I was planning to spend a few hours reviewing your material but I cannot do that now.  I am very tight financially at this time, due to the economic situation.  I, therefore, cannot buy into any programs that will charge me a monthly fee.   I am a businesswoman, who has owned my business for 20 years now.   I know how to run a business but my business is almost at a standstill as corporations that I used to service are no longer outsourcing.  I took an interest in your program as I am trying to get into the internet marketing but it is not as simple as it may seem.   I keep receiving offers from people who tell how they have made thousands of dollars but they have monthly dues (continuity programs they call it) which have caused a bigger hole in my credit card debts.
At this time, I do not see how you can help me unless I sign up for a program that will cost me monthly dues, which I cannot afford at this time.  This in no way reflects negatively on your product.  I liked what I read but I am just too overwhelmed with information and can’t seem to get the internet marketing business going.   If you have any ideas, please share them with me.   Thank you.

  9. Hi Steve,
Mark here again, I just read Vera’s post and she is totally right. It is nothing against you. I continually follow you and the advice you give, but I must say most if not all on the so guru’s or experts on the internet are only out to get your money. It truly is sad when people pry on the weak. People who truly need help trying to figure how to get out of the situations there in and then get taken, does Bernie Madoff ring a bell? I would like nothing more than to be able to pay for a mentor, but how to do that with nothing that is the question?
    Mark Danner

    Hi Mark,

Thank you for your comment and (I think) encouragement. =0)

I’ve responded with a more thorough individual message via email (as I did Vera) but I also wanted to post a portion of that message here for the benefit of other who may have the same question.

First, I completely understand and appreciate the challenge you, like so many others face and I recognize that it may seem an impossible feet.

    AND…

While watching the Olympics last night, I was again reminded of the importance of coaching and mentoring. I’m sure you realize that each athlete in the Olympics has at least one coach. I grant that a small percentage of the elite athletes have the resources to carry an entourage of coaches with them, but most don’t. In fact, most have made great sacrifices in life in order to secure the coaching support necessary to accomplish these great feats.

Many of these athlete just decided to NOT do with this or that so they could instead get what they needed to succeed. If you have not yet applied because you don’t think you can afford it, you’re doing yourself a great disservice. You haven’t really even found out what it is going to take, let alone begin to consider ways you might go for it.

What if a wanna-be Olympian did that?

Would they ever have the chance of standing on that podium?

    Of course not.

My coaching team can be very creative. We sincerely want to help you get what you want. But you’ll have to give us a chance to try if we’re ever going to be able to help you.

If in the end you are unable to find a way to invest in the one on one coaching, then, ThePerfectBizFinder Program gives access to many of the same principles and 40 years of business building experience and learning for less than $200…..

In fact, I am releasing a brand new ‘advocacy’ program this week (2/21/2010) in which I can end up paying YOU while you learn how to build the business of your dreams. Imagine that!

Mark, I’m no Bernie Maddoff. I’m not out to ‘prey’ on anyone, fortunate or unfortunate, weak or not. In the past 12 months we’ve helped 35,000 find and build businesses that truly deliver.

We’ve changed lives and made dreams come true.

And just like the coach who proudly and tearfully applauds the accomplishments of the Olympian he or she trained, personally, I want to do the same for you.

I hope this helps encourage you.

Thank you again for your comment.

I AM standing for all that’s possible for you in life and business.

    Sincerely,

    Steve

  10. Hello Steve,

I am looking for someone to market my services. Currently, I am a candidate for a doctoral degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. My speciality will be to fund and develop schools for special education students on an international level. The need is great especially with the awareness of autism. I am looking for ideas for marketing my services in alliance with major companies (sponsors) or individuals who have marketing expertise.  Thanks!  Sam

  11. Hi Steve,
I just spent fifteen minutes writing a reply and I get an error message : That reCAPTCHA response was incorrect.
I didn’t really want to answer on-line so I guess the system understood!
Grateful for your inputs. Not convinced of the value of the coaching program.
    Best regards, Kate

  12. Hi Steve.
I have found the information you have provided to be of very good quality with a high value rate for any person who wants to build a super business, the techniques and strategies are easily understood by all who wish to move forward in their lives, by implementing these tasks and taking action.

As there is no methods of attaching any photo’s of my ideas on this email, then it is very difficult to get my message across of improving conditions to benefit all road users in every country, Making a MAJOR contribution to road safety at less cost.

  14. Hey Steve,
Thanks for all the info you send. Its been very enlightening and rewarding, especially the stuff from Kevin Thompson. Now, on to my question. I have been sick for the past ten years due to Lyme disease, and I’m trying to pull my life back together. I’m doing amazingly well, considering that about a year and half ago it was a chore to drag myself from the couch to the bathroom and back and on some days I couldn’t remember my own name. However, now that I’m trying to move forward, I have to enter the real world again, and I’m a little behind.  So, here I am at twenty-one years old, with no money, and no credit possibilities. I am not a student, and I still rarely leave my house due to sensory integration problems from brain damage caused by the Lyme. I can do work and organise myself, but I have to set up my environment very carefully, so working in a regular work environment isn’t possible So, are there ways that I could get money to fund my business ventures, despite the lack of connection and. for lack of a better word, credibility?
    Thanks,

  15. not tonight Steve I would like to say so much and was going to and then I said to myself it is late and i am working by computer light (really) I will answer this question soon. I will say that a lot I have learned by my experenances but did not put it in your perspective or view them as you do which i think is the correct way of viewing what life has to teach. TO KNOW SOMETHING AND TO ACT ON IT IS VERY DIFFERANT.  I WILL SAY THAT I HAVE DECIDED THAT IF WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS NOT WORKING THAN YOU NEED TO MAKE CHANGES TO WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN DOING AND CHANGE WHAT YOU DO BUT IT IS A SLOW PROCESS FOR ME ANYWAY BECAUSE LIKE MOST PEOPLE IT IS HARD TO SEE AND THEN REALLY WANT CHANGE.  THANK YOU FOR SO MUCH SO FAR AND I THINK I MUST SAY TO YOU THAT THINGS DO NOT SET IN THE FIRST TIME AND I AM KINDA IN THE PROCESS OF REVIEWING THUS FAR TO HELP ME BELEIVE IN ME AND LET YOU HELP GET ME TO WHERE I WANT TO BE.   SINCERELY Cory

  16. Hi Steve, Thanks for the wee letter.  I am really learning a ton from your web site and try to remember all your great advice and tips and would love to take up your offer of the perfect biz finder, but I am so chromically short of funds and have to watch every cent at this time.
