Passion Is Success Fuel

I came across this video today and can honestly say I can not have communicated it any better than ‘MotivatorMan’ did.

Enjoy!

Great stuff isn’t it? Simple, direct, effective.

I’ve been exploring the power of illustrations recently. Mostly as an alternative to the ‘talking head’ approach to my presentations

What do you think?

Let me know by commenting below.

I’m standing for all that’s possible for you.

This is one of the most honest blogs I have ever read. Nothing overcomes good first hand experience on topics. Thank you for being sincere about this.

Hi Steve and Thanks for the  clip.  Do away with the “talking head”.?.. your “talking head”.?.maybe not a good idea..people like your style…they write that in the comments ..you must have read that..  It’s like this for many of us.. we see you ..we see you in your home..we see you in your car..we hear your voice…we calm down..we listen to your words…they make sense..by the time the video ends we’ve got it…and you’ve got a little more of our trust. Anyway..if you do decide to try animation ..why don’t you have the animators work the animation around you..No?

Hi, I’m very interested in Linux but Im a Super Newbie and I’m having trouble deciding on the right distribution for me (Havent you heard this a million times?) anyway here is my problem, I need a distribution that can switch between reading and writing in English and Japanese (Japanese Language Support) with out restarting the operating system.

Yes, Steve, I am getting tired of the ‘talking head’ videos everybody is doing. The addition of visuals to illustrate the message definitely improves the communication. It is easier to pay attention while it is being presented and easier to remember afterwards. ‘Jingles’ or ‘formulas’ also help with retention. And if you find the message repeating in your head, you are more likely to think about it and use it. Personally, I wouldn’t totally eliminate the ‘talking head’ to introduce or conclude the presentation, however. For a first time viewer, it gives them a sense of who you are. For the repeat viewer, it reminds of them of who you are and why they find your messages credible.
Of course, this takes a lot more ‘work’ to put together than the simple sit-in-front-of-the-camera-and-talk kind of thing. But if your passion really is to make a difference in people’s lives, (rather than to make more money with less effort), that shouldn’t matter, should it?
BTW, I absolutely agree that passion is energy. I also agree that identifying passions and business niches is a BIG place where people (myself included) get STUCK.
Be well, and have a great day!

Hey Steve,  I have to admit, since you asked, that I prefer your current more personal approach with your videos which feature you as the speaker and coach.  Take that as a compliment!  This video was nice reminder but a little over-simplified and didn’t necessarily teach anything new, so I almost didn’t make it to the end.   Perhaps replace one of the photos behind your desk with a graphic like this cute fellow.  ;o)
Have a great Holiday weekend and don’t over-work yourself!  All the best, Mark

BINGO!!! So true! I’ve tried many basic  jobs and couldn’t hold them.  My passion has always been to be in the music business, (singer, producer, promoter, or manager, etc.)  People always told me it was just a pipe-dream, &  to give it up! Now because of a neck injury, I can’t do many of  those jobs anymore, and have started going for my lifelong dream, my passion to be in the music industry. I started about a month ago. Things are going VERY well!  I’m learning to be an audio tech, and my daughter & I, have been asked to possibly help a well known area band, by one of the bands own members. I was shocked! (And thrilled!)  The little video is right on target!

Passion is absolutely the key. If you are not passionate about what you do/sell, why do it? People will see the passions and want to have it themselves. If it really solves a need as well, then you have. . . The Perfect Biz. :-)
Thanks for the ideas and motivations. Your passion is obvious.

Great idea…perhaps doing the animations in color. Generally speaking, people have become desensitized to plain print and enjoy clear, succinct problem solving animations…visual thinking !?

Passion is something that is truly the key to success, but finding what your passionate about and figuring out how to make money with it can be an intimidating process.  The video is dead on passion does create energy.
