Hi Steve. I havve already commented this video-blog before, see above.
I noticed you made the message easier to grasp this time, though, by spelling it out. It helped. Because of my ADD-diagnosis, I
sometimes have great difficulties in foccus and concentration. I have to see the video a couple of times to get it.
I am going to buy your Perfect Bizfinder Manual again, because I need it to complete your Audio Coaching Program. I did buy it again a short while ago, but Sindy gave me a refund because I had bought it at another opportunity. She thinks I still got it(The Perfect Bizfinder.manual). Maybe on a disc somewhere… Love Lena

Hi Steve. I have followed your advice and practiced it during your Audio Coaching program, so I know it works.
For example, when you write you get in touch with your subconscious mind. I will try and follow your advice daily. But to be honest, I think I do it naturally without thinking.I just follow my nature. Love Lena

Steve, it was very inspiring to listen to you. I dream of joining you in your team as a perfect biz inspiring partner. Hope my dream comes true. I was inspired by Edison before. Now your lecture on Salvador Dali has inspired me further.

My first encounter with creative dreaming was when I was about 10 years old. I was fascinated with electronics, radios, transmitters, vacuum tubes, etc. One evening I was at my workbench putting together a radio on a wooden “breadboard” from scratch, just out of my head and a schematic to guide me. I wired the components together with the expectation that I could tune in to a local radio station when finished. It refused to work. Frustrated, I went to bed as commanded by my mother and fell asleep. During a dream, I was watching my hands moving some wires with no thought as to what I was doing or why. Just watching. when I awoke the next morning I vaguely remembered my dream and moved the wires as I had seen in the dream. Wow! It came to life and worked beautifully. The brain does work creatively that way and has solved many similar problems in a similar way when relaxing and forgetting the problem for a while.

I have unconsciously been doing this for a long time. I am a teacher and my best ideas for lessons have come to my while I am sleeping. I think about a problem before I go to sleep and when I wake up I have lots of ideas and know which way to proceed. A long time ago I read a book about dreams and started writing down my dreams in the morning. I have some amazing dreams and can remember them in the morning, unlike most of my friends.I get a lot of inspiration and ideas from my dreams.

One of the most important things I have learned about being creative is “you cannot have or do – or invent” anything you don’t already know something about.   In other
words, if you have nothing in your background related to a particular subject, you will not be to come up with a solution to something you know nothing about.  So -
it is only natural that your mind will work on things you know about – go with it.

I took over my husbands business (he was a propriator) and immediately told myself
this is not the way I will run this business and I am an entrepreneur.  I changed everything that involved getting my hands dirty to “outsourcing” and was able to grow the business ten fold within two years.

I just got a patenet and trademark on a product that you will all soon be seeing on
TV and many of you with similar things in your background are going to “thump your forehead” thinking that you should have thought of that because it is so simple and was “right in front of your eyes.”   You see I am no more creaive than you, but the Universe gave me the idea and I acted on it.

So what is the very first step?  (1) your idea (2) does someone else already own the idea? (3) is there really a market for my idea?    How do you find out these things?
I am mostly disgusted with anything our Government does, but this time I must give
credit to the USPTO web site.  It is easy to use and you can not only check on
your idea, but you can troll the site for ideas.  Simply go to the web site and put in
some descriptive words that come close to your idea.  You will be amazed how many patents you will find on any one subject.  Whatever you do, do not get discouraged when you find possibly 500 patents that are similar to your idea.  It doesn’t mean anything has been done with them or that it matches your idea exactly.

After you search the USPTO web site, “Google” your subject and see what you find.
Than go out to the stores where your item (idea) would be sold.  Say it is an automotive item.  Go to as many auto parts stores as your can manage.  If you don’e see your particular item, you might see where it is needed and where it would fit in.

As for not telling anyone about you idea until you can obtain a Provisional Patent -
you are right – keep your mouth shut – yea, don’t even tell you best friend or family until youhave done your work and know more.  Why, because )(one) they will discourage you, (two) it will release the tension of your good idea away from you, and most important, they may not steal your idea, but they might tell someone about it who will take you idea and act upon it.

Ok, you don’t have your own business yet and you don’t have any money, etc.  Don’t ask anyone to invest in your “idea.”    No one cares more than you do.   So what do you have?  You have the ability to come up with an “idea,” you have the ability to do the research at USPTO, you have the ability to think of a great Trademark (don’t know about trademarks?  You have a computer, learn about them.  Once you have
a great product turned into a simple prototype, a Provisional Patent and a Trademark, you ready to starting talking about getting someone to invest in your
“idea.”    If you creative idea is good, is really something that enough people want, the money will come.  The as seen on TV productions are always looking for great,
simple, demstratable, Provisionally Patented and Trademarked products.  The money
will be drawn to your work (action).   It a lot of work and you are the one that must do it.  The Universe doesn’t care who brings the new product to life and will keep
giving enough people “hits” until someone will surely grab the idea and take the action (do the work).

Hey Steve, I’m still learning and you are a great teachere.

Thank you for your in put it really is helping me.
Some years ago,I was at a particularly bad time in my life I met a Japanese man in a supermarket queue. He seemed so calm when everything around him including or maybe especially me was on edge. He turned to me and said
‘centre yourself my dear and life will give you all the good you deserve’.
I asked him what he ment and in a few minutes he told me to stand with my feet slightly apart, knees at rest and sitting on my bottom whilst standing. (It didn’t make sense until I did it) then take a deep breath look ahead resting my eyes on an object ahead. Then slow the breathing down in which ever way I wanted. With in a few minutes the problems I had tangled up began to straighten out. As he left the check out he said. You can do this at any time anywhere. If you do it daily your concerns will not become problems but only tackle one subject at a time. Then he was gone. I have never seen him since nor do I know his name. The universe certianly gave me a great man on that day as he brought others to me since.
I call them my inner circle of centre greats. Thank you for being one of them.

This is very provocative stuff. Thank you. Now if I could only learn to be as disciplined when doing things for myself as I am when doing things for other people I would be closer to getting what I would like to do, done. This is the point where I am struggling, and everything balances from there. How does one cultivate the belief that yes you do deserve to have a good life? I have come to understand how often I cut myself off at the knees but even understanding it has not really helped a whole lot in overcoming it..These videos are very helpful in bringing a lot of things into focus.  Thank you.

Thanks again, Steve. Mental notes: (1) I would add praying for ideas. What God wants is important, and He is the ultimate Source of all good. (2) What does generating ideas have to do with business success? I suppose in trouble-shooting and in providing what customers want. (3) Why is (or explain how) creativity (is) number one of the six attributes associated with business success? Presumably if one’s creativity were a “10″ and if one scored a “zero” for each of the other five, one would probably not be a successful business person. At least not as an entrepreneur. So creativity cannot operate without discipline, energy, and so on. Innovation may be defined as the implementation of creativity. (4) For some decades, as I understand it, Americans (of whom I am one) have been known abroad for generating new ideas, but not on following up on them long term. We are too interested, from others’ perspective, on chasing a new fad. So Japan uses American technology, then improves on it. (I understand Europe has accused the US of stealing its technology and running with it too.) Anyway, cultural differences raise questions about what business success is and how it is generated. (5) Fear of failure stifles creativity. Fascinating! It seems to touch on the theory that mass mood drives market. And as a theist, it seems to touch on faith in God and on the mysterious and lively interplay between divine sovereignty and human responsibility. Faith moves mountains. Fear generates … well, government regulation, for one. (6) Seth Godin among many others reminds us that catch-the-wave economic development is now not typically in agriculture and manufacturing, but in ideas (or rather ideas that sell). It’s creativity deja vu!

Hi Steve,  I love the way you are combining creativity and business.  I am pretty sure I am naturally creative but I need to make some money and am interested in making money on the internet.  It’s fascinating that this route has led me back to creativity and some ideas, daily pages for example, that I let fall by the wayside.  Your insight into how these activities can lead to the germs of ideas which may lead to the business you want is very helpful.  It makes me want to give all that another go.  I’m beginning by being more respectful of ideas by capturing them.  Thanks a lot.

Steve, the more I work on this the better it is and the more fun. Where I have had the most success is taking the 20 minute break. This I have done when things have piled up and I do not see a way through or have upset me emotionally which is a hindrance to creativity. Riding out on my bike I jotted down many thoughts which could be applied to business mindset. This was exciting. Nature speaks words of wisdom.I have more trouble with writing pages because I feel as if I am journaling and my environment also puts thoughts in my head. Mostly I find that the thoughts going through my head have to do with I am experiencing at the time. Is that OK?How do I “dissect” this all to get the thread?Thank you for your help.Hope you are having a great weekend.

Hi Ed,

Thank you for your comment on ThePerfectBizFinder Video Blog.

I appreciate your input and question.

To clarify the confusion I did indeed publish a single mini-eBook for both articles. The content in the video expands on the 2 sections of the same eBook, so I thought it easiest to just provide the download link in both articles.

I reviewed both the Release Your Inner Genius articles and cannot find the reference to 22 pages. I did however find and correct a different error. So thank you for calling your concern to my attention.

The good news is you have not missed anything. =0))

Thank you again for your time and attention. I hope you are finding the information useful and valuable.

I’ve taken time to listen to this all again. I must admit the discipline to do this each day is lacking and I notice I even ignore some of the creative thoughts that come up in my mind with the reasoning I won’t get it done because of lack of time. Crazy how mixed up the mind is. I break down my own activity. Is this a normal proceedure at the beginning?

Thanks Steve.  I am a great dreamer and had difficulty knowing how to go about it. For sure I am going to work on this. Thank you for the training.I am so glad to get an answer how to put these dreams into reality. Shall report later. Now a question: I not only dream for myself, but also for my 5 kids. I don’t know how to put this down, but maybe you know what I mean having daughters yourself.I always get excited and start to dream when I think of how various they are in their careers, but seem like one puzzle which should somehow be put together.I’ll just throw it out like this.1. Secretary, personal trainer. Learnt as flight assistant.2. Publicist3. Finance Manager4. Europe Secretary5. Product DesignerI guess anyone would have dreams when seeing that. Sure must have a purpose.By dreaming I always get real excited. Now I see how to cope with it.Even now I can’t wait to try it out, but need to make lunch for my husband:-). Till later. NanetteThis is so much fun…sorry, but it really is. It’s like getting all that is going on inside into a pattern.

The technique for dealing with a fear of failure, and eliminating the negative thoughts, made me think of an old Saturday Night Live skit. Al Franken would portray Stuart Smalley, with his Daily Affirmations. It’s a technique that sounds silly, yet it does work.

Very interesting. I have known most of these concepts, but need constant reminders. We all seem to get too busy within the ratrace of Life and forget what is basic. I know my most inspirational moments and intuitive moments have been at the rawest times in my life when I felt so down I would reach out and ask for help, there’s a huge lesson it that! Taking the time for ourselves each day is so important to maintain who we are and reflect upon our purpose. Maybe I need to post this message on my pillow so I take that time each night before going off to sleep.
A point for some of the readers who sometimes have difficulty reading their writing is get a small tape recorder and record your thoughts. I find this especially helpful when I am driving alone and often have great ideas.

Dear Steve,
I believe you will answer my mail. I have received responce from you earlier and hope you will help me in this.
This may be a little long but wanted to share it with you.
A year back in march i began as an entrepreneur into the field of event management and media, things started falling into place, when i started i wished for Rs.100000 as a monthly target, when i achieved it in march and april i was confident that ‘THE SECRET’ works, and so i gave myself a target of Rs.40,00,000/- till march 31st 2009, by end of January i had achieved Rs.37,00,000/- but i then got carried away with the fact the economical meltdown, recession and the thought that from here on its gonna be worse, i had promised myself that if i achieved my target i would buy myself a good car worth maybe 8,00,000/- but i refused to part with money and dint want to spen it cause i believed that there are gonna be no more contracts coming, the whole of feb passed and so did the first half of march, until some of ur inspirational videos and other mails from SOGR, abrahim hicks, secret & bob started hitting me, i finally bought a car with the thought that if i really go bankrupt i will sell my car, the day i decided so i received 2 inquiries out of which 1 confirmed the day i paid advance for my car, i achieved my target 100% and was a happy girl again.
I set new targets for this year of Rs.1,00,00,000/- and then a monthly target for april…..
But now the fear is taking me over again,, i have not received any inquiries form any clients and have no clue where the work is gonna come from, i have never gone out and marketed my services be cause it was never necessary, i always believed work will get attracted to me and i don’t need to go in seach for it, it always did happen that way, but now im getting paranoid since a week of april has already passed and a inch has moved.
Please help me Steve and tell me what do i now.
Wishing you would reply

Hi Steve, I did enjoy this blog greatly!  Funnily enough, these are techniques I stumbled on years ago when I was a student, writing essays – at least a form of them that worked without fail for me.  Whatever the topic was, i diligently did my research and wrote notes.  Then I left the essay alone and got on with life…invariably, within a couple of days, the whole form and substance of the essay would flash into my mind!I often write songs/poems/story boards etc whilst cycling or walking (have to make sure I have a pen and paper), and very often wake up with a piece of writing or a song in my mind that just HAS to be put down.I had a ‘vision’ of a world peace project come to me whilst on a work, a ‘peace parable’ come to me during a ballet lesson, and often wish I had a pen and paper with me during church!!!I LOVE this process. It’s how I work…I ask, and there it is!  Of course, then you have to do the physical work of putting the ideas on paper and making the music work…Now…I’m asking how to bring the creative work into a lucrative form.By the way – if there is an email address to which I can send attachments, I would love to share some of my ideas/work with you…no strings attached!YoursKate

I have a slightly different spin on the dreaming mind.  I will ask my brain to come up with a solution to a problem just before going to sleep at night.  During the night I will wake up and many times the solution to the problem will have come to me.  I keep paper next to the bed and make notes as to what the answer is.  Since it is dark, the words look funny but are readable.  If I don’t write things down when they come to me, I will forget them.  I have spent many hours trying to figure out what the answer was when I didn’t write it down!John W

I’ve been following the blog with great interest. Right now, I’m in a spot that prevents me from doing a lot, due to physical problems. I’m severely disabled by knee injuries and a deteriorating back that have me in a Nursing Home temporarily. So, my “range of capability” is badly limited. I’m applying what you say, as best I can, but can’t do much, as I said. Is there some way to keep all this material in one spot, so I can keep revisiting it, when I’m more able to carry out the results. Due to being on SS Disablity Income, from to multiple permanent injuries, my income/capability to carry out idea projects is badly limited. :-\ I’m sure others are limited in how to carry ideas to fruition, that are outside their ability physically, or financially. If you know of people willing to partner on such, or where to find a database of them, it would help people like me. I know that some of my idea/projects are at the stage of needing actual testing, which I’m working on. Like Edison, I have more ideas than time/money to try. I’m willing to share credit income, as some is better than none.:-) Thanks for the insights on creativity.

Hi Steve, I just read Bill’s comment above about his ‘undisclosed idea’ and wanted to comment. Years ago I had the priviledge to hear a man speak many times about the nature of the mind and spirit.  One idea that really stuck with me and I’ve since realized was true is that ‘thoughts are universal and not individual’.  At some level of Consciousness we are all connected, call it ‘universal mind’ if you want to. What we think about most often we attract to us, either good or bad.  My point is this:  Bill, if you have a great idea you can be certain that that same idea is alive and available to others who are attuned to the same kinds of thoughts you have.  For example, I recall when I was in the home improvement industry I had two great ideas for improving the use of ladders when working around windows and when working on uneven ground, but did not know how to act on them. I could clearly see how the ideas could improve safety and versatility, I could ‘see’ the finished product. However, others also had those same ideas and within two years both of those ideas had manifested into products by other people. Those products were the exact ideas I had -someone else knew how to act on them.If you have a great idea you need to write it all down in every concievable way and get it patented or copywrited or protected somehow because you can be certain the idea has already been released into the group mind.  Someone will act on it, or talk about it to someone and they’ll act on it.  The universe does not play favorites, it just releases ideas when mankind is ready for them.Actually the truth is that ‘all ideas’ are already available and waiting for us to receive them; oil was already in the earth long before man knew what to do with it, and so was the potential for solar energy and the idea of computers and telephones and everything that will be invented in the coming years.   It’s our job to attune ourselves to themand act on them.

Steve-Let me please let you know that what I am about to tell you happened after your last two “Release the Genius” videoes.  If I make some errors in spelling it is because I am so excited that I cannot even type.  (Ever been that way?)  I took in what I heard on the videos and let me tell you first of all I did not get to bed until very early this morning, around two am.  I like to play musical instruments and I simply got wound up in them which has happened many times before.  I have always considered myself something special and have tried to capture the “genius” that I now know is in everyone.  But sometimes we let all of the garbage block that “genius” from coming out. It is during times when we don’t expect it that it happens. About a  year ago I woke up at 3:30 am and had words in my head for a song.  I did not want to completely awaken as I thought I might lose it.  So I got my table and pen and layed it across my chest in the darkness and proceeded to write, using my finger to guage the distance between the lines.  Then after about what seemed 20 minutes of writing I stopped layed the pen and tablet down and tried to go back to sleep which was difficult.  Yesterday after watching your material I went to a webinar with Jack Zufelt.  and I dont’ know if it was the combination of the two of you or what (it doesn’t matter) but “it” happened again.  I want to tell you what this genius idea is, however I am so excited about this that I am actually afraid to reveal it to anyone at this point withous some kind of non-disclosure agreement, even to a laywer. I know this idea would be something that everyone could use and it could let them have a better life, would be inexpensive and could be used in every country of the world.  It would be non toxic and safe.  I actually found something out about myself with this revelation.  I actually experience fear after this was revealed to me as I came to realize that this could be worth many many millions of dollars.  Perhaps billions and I am wondering why someone else has not thought of this.  The fear I experience was making all of that money and what would happen.  I need help with this one but I can tell you that my core desire is to help others succeed in life.  (I have recently started to give away some of my material things and money to other to help them so I know that this core value is in helping others. It makes me happy to do this. )  I thought of getting a group of “friends” together and reveal it to them after they sign an enforceable non -disclosure agreement but then I also thought about getting with some adventure capitalist and going that route and I also though about you and if you might help.  Its not about money at this point in developing and marketing this idea.  but it is about how to proceed and protect my idea.  I simply don’t want to reveal this to anyone, even my family, at this point.  I recognize that I need help with this but not someone that I cannot trust. So if you can help me lets talk but I will let you know before hand that I will not reveal the actual content to you.  You must have cotacts that have been in situtations like this before.  I will not even devoulge this information to anyone at this point until my head clears with some rational approach.  I have heard of too many people giving out their ideas and having someone else “steal” them.  Are you even in the Southern California area, I mean like today.Steve, I don’t know how even you missed this. I am willing to email you my phone number.  This could be worth much to both of us.Sincerely and with impeccibility of my word. Bill
