Steve,
Thank you for what you do. I am so convinced about your program and the essence of what you do, that I would like you to consider the possibility of entering the spanish language markets, initially Mexico, which is where I am.
I am personally interested. Please let me know if this interests you.Juan Maynemobile phone 529991903485
Hello Steve,Wow, I was constantly being onterrupted by mind chatter and other distractions just while listening to your talk this am. Everytime this happened, I restarted the video. Soon I was just sitting back, relaxed and focused. That was an invaluable lesson in itself. Thank you so much for all the information you share so freely. Greatly appreciated.
Hi Steve,
Excellent video message. Can say I see all 4 saboteurs in my business. A big Thank You on the suggestions to combating them. Great tools and give hope that we can get off the hamster wheel back to passion and fun in life.
Thank you for your compassion and time!
JD
JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP. MUCH APPRECIATED.
Hi Steve,Your video is excellent and I know I am sometimes a victim of a saboteur, and I was happy to hear that you have been as well! There is only one thing that I do like to do is finish what I begin before going on to something else, including e-mail, phone & other interruptions, and possibly others, even when I want to finish something before making dinner, my hubby just has to wait. Now he helps out somewhat.I believe what you tell us, because I’ve been there and done that! Thanks for all the information you are sending us I really appreciate it.I leave e-mails for my evening hours except for this one and when I want to listen to teleseminars and take notes.
Steve tremendous and valuable information. Total agreement with your 4 saboteurs. Saboteur #3 resonates the loudest for me…absolute clutter environmentally/office/mind which leads to imobilization and ineffectiveness. Your delivery style and succinct message is refreshing and most importantly believeable. How and who should one focus on in an age of being overwhelmed with good and bad “stuff”? For me it must come down to someone/system that speaks specifically to fit my needs and desires and whether or not an opportunity is viable…I welcome any insights you may wish to share. Thank you for a ton of great and practical information.
sounds good / 4 top sabotuers. I’ll try it!
Hi all - I am thrilled that so many of you have found this information useful.
While it took some time to do initially I have found that organizing my days into 2 to 4 hour block of dedicated focused time with 15 to 30 minute breaks in between has been one of the most pragmatic ways to increase not only my personal productivity, but more importantly, my daily experience of accomplishment.
This in turn positively ignites my experince of success each and every day.
I cover this principle in a good bit more detail within the 21-Day program.
Thanks for your comments.
Steve
Thank you for the gift Steve. You deserve a break.
Thank You
thanks for the wonderful gift…looking forward to the day i don’t constantly trip over oneself……if you have wall space ill sent you some original art “how the west was won, or the party starts the 20th, surf’s up!”
Dear Steve:By what I have seen of you so far I am convinced that whatever products you have put out for sale are of very high value. Unfortunately I’m living well below poverty level and to get out of this condition is not easy. I do appreciate the free content you do put out because I have to start somewhere. I don’t even remember how I got on your list, probably from a giveaway site, but I’m glad I did. Life is miserable for me now feeling like the things I want in life always seem to be just out of reach. I would love to own Windsor Castle, that’s definitely a whole universe out of reach! I bet that made you laugh!. Maybe that thought is too big, even for you. Anyway, just to extend my gratitude for the information you have been giving me.Daniel
Hi Daniel – I was compelled to respond to your message because the evidence of subconscious limiting belief is so apparent.
My friend, you live in a belief created experience. In other words, your experience is what it is because of what you believe….not consciously, but SUB-consciously.
If you change your subconscious beliefs, you change your experience.
So, if what you have is not what you want then the useful question to ask is, “what must I have believed up to this moment in order for me to have the experience (of lack) I am having right now.”
The answer may be something like “i don’t deserve the success I want” or “I am not skillfull or talented or educated enough”.
Try this:
Write on a piece of paper the question: “Why don’t I have the success I desire?”
Then sit quietly, back straight and breathing comfortably with your eyes closed for 3 minutes.
At the end of thje 3 minutes, take 3 deep cleansing breaths.
Open your eyes and read the question.
The first answer that pops into your head is one of the beliefs that is keeping you from having what you want.
Write it down.
Repeat this several times. I think you will find it incredibly revealing.
This inquiry will reveal the evidence you need to recognize how your subconscious beliefs are generating the (“life is miserable”) experience you are having.
This awareness empowers you to eliminate these subconscious success saboteurs and change your experience.
The only reason things appear out of reach for you is because you believe they are out of reach for you. Change your belief and you change your experience.
Everything actually is within reach for you.
There is really no actual reason you cannot have a castle…even Windsor Castle is possible if it were ever to be sold.
Let me know how this works out.
Sincerely,
Steve
SteveSuch wisdom, focused attention and time makes success happen with more ease. I have been guilty of all saboteur behaviors—took a day off yesterday, and my soul is needing it more, so now I know why! need more rest and recovery time….thanks for all you BE, Michelle
Hi Steve,I am a 48 year old femal form Germany and suffer from CFS. I was bedridden 2004 and 05.I am getting better now and besides doing household and shopping and some physical exercises again I also give between 1-4 massage or cosmetic sessions “a week” in my mothers little cosmetic studio. It started this year that I kept watching and being interested in informations about building your own business and so on?! And I often wonder why as I keep telling myself I first have to heal I just do not have enough strength yet.Just yesterday listening to your Audio recording answering questions it suddenly occurred to me if this is also just a limiting belief?!I live right now from a very small disability rent and the little extra I mentioned.Up to know I always found a way to finance what I really wanted but is this already the right time to invest in such a program where normally I invest what I can scratch together into physical treatments, organic foods and supplementations?I am also actually very happy not to have to work right now as I have lots of beliefs how strenuous and exhausting normal work is/was!!!! (I used to be a social worker)So my belief is I first have to heal and deal with my blocking beliefs towards work before I can start even educating myself in this direction !!!!!!did I understand it right that your program includes working with limiting/blocking beliefs ??? and I would love your comment on the health issueThe way you present your programm is very tempting
)))))))thanksSanjula
Steve,You are doing an incredible service to us all. The e-book is an excellent addition to the video. Thanks. There is no doubt that this video alone will have an incredible influence on all that folows. Thank You for all that you do.
Thanks for your insight on these subjects as some of my friends think l am over active and obsessive about not just business but ‘kaitzen’ in general.I hope you enjoy your time with those you love alsogood vibes mate
Hi Steve,Thank you for the gift. Not only are you highlighting the significant inefficiencies produced by those 4 success saboteurs, you are giving us good techniques to overcome them and start improve our productivity immediately. It’s very generous from your part to provide us with all these eBooks in addition to your interesting videos.
Thank You Steve… The main thing here I am guilty of is the e-mail. Didn’t really realize just how much of a distraction it is and the distraction of my-space and face-book are just as bad. Love getting these tips from you. You really make us think!
Those 4 points are very powerful. If i can get myself to follow them i know it will have a huge impact on my life. Thanks for sharing them!
Wonderful helps. I am guillty of all 4 saboteurs, but distractions are the worst for me. Your suggestions were great and doable. I will try them out. I have felt frustrated, and this should help. Thank you
Steve, this is absolutely amazing information and very, very powerful. I multi-task all the time and when you were talking about scheduling 2-hour blocks of time to solely focus on 1 thing (w/ no e-mail interruptions, no phone call interruptions, etc) I smiled immediately and knew that you were spot on with that suggestion, knowing immediately that taking that suggestion will drastically improve my effectiveness! Also, one of your last points about not only taking 15 minute breaks between the 2 hour blocks of time but taking 2 solid days a week off to relax and reconnect with ourselves is a very refreshing suggestion and one that I am very much drawn to and also know will benefit me greatly. THANK YOU! so so so so so so much! Peace.
Thank you Steve,You have strengthened my belief that things come to you at the right time and when you are really ready! Your information came to me exactly when I needed to focus on my dream project that was immediatly after reading ‘The Secret’I have found that I am a Growth Maven with Lifestyle guru streak. I wonder if it is ok! In fact the architectural design of my campus is already drawn in my book. It had come to me in the form of a design of a finger ring. I wish I cam able to pay for your programme. Manjula
Hi Steve,Oeps, the first saboteur ‘the multi tasking’ is such a good friend. You’re right, there is nothing to be proud of being a multitasker. I was shocked by the fact that every interrumption costs about 20 minutes to recover. Another eye opener is combining small tasks into a 2hours cluster (or delegate which is even better). I am in your program already and it really is excellent. I’m not saying this because of a kinda propaganda but because I really am very, very glad with it. It brought me already so many insights and changes. I’m just very happy with it. Laura
Dear Steve, I recall a time, when I lived and worked in Denver and I was very successful I did each and every thing you suggested on this tape. Funny when I think about it, now, that I am not successful at all, starting a new business, I catch myself doing all the mistakes you just talked about on this tape. THANK YOU FOR THE REMINDER: Siegfried
Steve, Great content! I was listening to the Seven Habits Mastery Series just last week and the sychronicity (sp) of it made me laugh out loud! I got behind on all my email (saboteur #2) and am behind on the 21day plan but am 100 % committed to it. It has the ring of truth everytime I read or listen. Thanks, Linda
Hi Steve:George here, great content as usual, your straight forward approach and ease in which you convey your ideas always seems to resonate with me! Tks for that.I liked the idea of the 2 hour block to focus on one thing, good sound advice. The relaxation part is also a great idea, as I usually get up and walk around and listen to some music, or just cat-nap.I especially liked the part about being responsible for the mis managment of yourself part. I personally have spent 18 years in the military and know that some of these points could be benificial even in my daily tasks at work, therefore i will try and incorporate some of the 4 ideas. This all before I get home and work on my internet business, which I hope to soon make my full-time passion. Tks again for your commitment to the people you teach.George sends!
hi
Hi, its been a while since I’ve responded to your blog. I totally agree you have to get away, and multi-tasking is a trap. But it has, and is being used by different business owners to burn out and control people in the work place. As always for the enlightment.
Hi Steve, I am a victem of all 4 Saboteurs and your message is right on time.. I am thankful for all you provide.
Hi Steve, such valuable content indeed! Your sincere and straightforward approach has given me a clear and focussed picture of what I’m supposed to do. Sad that I’ve to miss your program for this session due to financial constraint, but I definitely hope that I will not going to miss the next one at any cost!
mind chatter and scatterdness the worst enemy of success!
Hi Steve,Thank you again for a great posting. I can especially identify with the Mind Chatter element and often wish I could turn my own off like a light switch. Even when I try meditation techniques they get overrun with Mind Chatter or I fall asleep. Obviously I need to work harder at it or I’m doing something wrong?I was really interested in your response here to the Limiting Self Beliefs posting by Daniel and his dream of owning Windsor Castle. I truly believe that Limiting Self Belief is the biggest hurdle bar none that most people if not everyone has to face in the world no matter where or how they were born. I found your exercise very useful for myself and my own beliefs and I thank you for this and all your gifts to us so far.I also want to say Good Luck Daniel, please do the exercise and know that you can have anything you truly want if you believe that you can!Best Wishes to you all. Claire
Thanks Steve i recognise myself in some of what you describe.thanks for providingstructured solutions. Johan kay South Africa
Hi Claire – Yes Mind Chatter can be a big challenge. There are a number of ways you can ‘quiet’ the noise. I am particularly pleased with the brainwave binuaral beat audios produced by a company called The Immrama Institute. You can read about the scientific details on their web site but suffice it to say for now that these audios will help you ‘automatically’ silence the noise and clear your subconscious mind.I guarantee they will help you. Click here: IMMRAMA Another tool which augments this audio technology is to the ‘writing pages’ technique I cover in the Release Your Inner Genius post (coming on day 20).Thank you for your comment inquiry. I am thrilled you are here and look forward to reading more from you.Sincerely,Steve
Hi Steve, Hello and how are you? I have found over the years that without play time I become overly grumpy. So once a day I spend one to one and a half hours in the gym four times a week. This prepares me for my busy day. Thanks,Damon
Hi Steve, I can not even imagine not being a part of your program! This is such powerful info (sometimes painful, too); but where can I sign up? You are amazing!!! Mary
Hi, Steve! At the moment I don’t have a wesite, but I am thinking of putting one up soon. I just downloaded your e-book How to Overcome the Top 4 Success Saboteurs. Lots of good stuff there! Some things I will want to work on. I already know how to meditate and quiet my mind whenever I want, and I know how to relax completely when I need to, but for the other things I am glad to have your e-book to help me with them. Thanks so much.Christineovercome the Top 4 Success Saboteurss
Hi Steve, You mention a 21-day program, but it was the first time I was even hearing about it. I must have missed an email or some other communication. Where can I find out more about the program, costs, content, etc.? Thanks.
Steve:Thanks. Still have yet to define the anger, feel it is the years of bullying I have been subjected to. Feel that speaking out is necessary, not being heard. At this time I am unable to finance $297, that is what I have to live on for a few days. Will enjoy what is for now. Again thanks.Carl W. Wirth
Steve. For me I need structure and you are certainly giving me what I need. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT I am absolutely signed in for your 21 days. Thank you and God Bless, Deidre
Hi Steve, I really liked the content on #4, vid. , I recognized that some of the info. is stuff that I knew, however; like most us we rise up out of a warped routine lifestyle for awhile and then settle back into it habitually. Your breakdown of these good ideas are uplifting. Because in door to door sales it is easy to cheat myself and multitask with my iphone while sipping an americano. And even more shortcut my productivity by watching others live their lives on you tube. So your email saboteur jolted my mind chatter, it stopped all interruptions, it focused my mind, it cleared the fog and unveiled clarity – bam between my eyes. Would you believe that I was perusing my emails while watching your video? I know I know this just proves that you are right. Thanks again! Daniel you can do it – just know that right now is the brokest day of your life. now go move some mountains dude!!Chris
Thanks Steve,This is very powerful information, I can relate to the lot.How often will you be running your courses as I have just started my coaching course. Thanks again ,Yvonne
Hi Yvonne,
Thank you for your kind encouragement and question.
The lessons in this video blog are free and continuously available to you. You can watch them and do the exercises as frequently as you like. However, I must tell you that they represent but a tiny fraction of the information covered within ThePerfectBizFinder Program (Here’s The 21 Day Step-by-Step System for Finding YOUR Perfect Business)
You can begin that program anytime. It is a fantastic value, should unquestionably be completed by every business owner and wanna-be business owner and is completely self paced.
When you enroll, I’ll enjoy helping you get what you want.
Hope this answers your question.
I’m standing for all that is possible for you in life and business.
Steve
Through this process I have become confident that you are in possession of success principles to a depth that is worthy of merit – and it would seem - the wisdom by which to convey them to others effectively. I have long studied ‘priciples of success’ among other things. While I assign substantial value to that which I have learned, the studies themselves have contributed to the ‘noise within,’ to distraction and to other violations that circumvent action. While I was engaged in study, you have evidently leveraged yourself through action conducted within a context of appropriate mentorship, producing results and developing the skills and competencies that you now enjoy. I congratulate you. You have justified more than a modicum of admiration also. These exercises and the value that you have shared offer a hint of that which is to come. Given a confluence of current financial circumstances, which I hope to resolve within a short time, I can only indicate my intention to sign up. We shall have to see. I look forward to the opportunity, should I meet the deadline. For those who would question the value of what you have to offer, it is evident to me at least that there is great value in what you have shared and of that which you offer . . . extending well beyond the context of one’s choice of business – or of the choice of their role within it. Thank you Steve. Best wishes.
Hi Steve ,Thank you for lesson.I actually have study about this 4 Success Saboterus with Eban Pagan .Is good you rememeber again about this . I know is important to follow this guidance .The result is fanatstic , when have a clear focus ,work on one thing ,make a breake .The energy is higly again and feel good . You know , I read a book now by Echart Tolle about The power of now .If you allow my , I really recommand this book and other books written by him for your costomers .For my is a good book and in connection with your lessons ,I began to understand more how we can be free from many old patterns and programs , how to build a new life full of success and harmony .I really appreciate your guidance , support and time .Have a wonderful weekend ,Lydia
hi steve, what u say is very true but im in a situtaion little different, started as an entrepreneur 1 year ago and projects just started to flow in, achieved my target for this fnancial year by 90%, now nothing new is coming up and the old client nomore has funds to do any buniness, im a event manager and marketing executing field, now i m nervous as i do not know where will the new business come from.pls can u help me on thisthanksmichellemichelle@priviledge.co.in
Hi Mishal
This is a pretty common occurrence believe it or not. The answer is simple, but getting to it can be challenging.
Markets are dynamic…they change. As a business owner you either change with them or fail. So ask yourself what has changed since your last big success? Maybe an economic shift, maybe new leadership, whatever.
The thing to see is that the money is still flowing…it is just not flowing where it used to flow. I suspect this is particularly true in your business.
Once you find where it IS going you can place yourself in front of it.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted.
Steve
Tremendous valuable information. Thank youRegardsBenedicta
Thanks for the information. Very useful. Jason http://www.oilthatmakessense.com
Excellent thoughts with thorough understanding! Success saboteurs are the definite outcomes of the lack of clarity of one’s priorities. A perfect solution that combines a 15-20mins. of physical relaxation between the intensive clear focused activities during the day, a routine of activities to relax the conscious mind enabling us to take care of some mundane activities warranted to perform, and a 2 Day break after a 5 Day toil in order not to get unduly consumed by the intensive focussed tasks performed for almost 5 days. BY JUST ACTING ON IT ALONE CAN GET THE DESIRED RESULTS. Kudos to you Steve!!!
Thank you Steve,Wonderful insight and as I make these my thoughts, like things,I look forward in it happening.
thanks steve so much for the reply… that is what im trying to figure out as to where the money is flowing, the economy shift here has really effected..looking for new clients just dont know where to start from.
Steve,For some reason I can’t hear a thing on this video. Just watched another post and theaudio was fine. Help ….thanks,Mark
Where do you get info on how much your 21 day program costs?
Steve, this one looks like you’ve been reading my mind – I have only recently realised that all my multi tasking /multi skills are being used by others to MY detriment, and am in the process of becoming ” less skilled”.The nature of my employment as a Safety ,Health Quality and Environmental manager does not allow the luxury of 2 hr sessions–hence I am busy working myself out of this position. On the issue of Mind Clutter –Guilty 100% ,to the extent that I can’t even seem to switch off @ night to go to sleep(the mind raves on) so if you have a cure for that I’d appreciate it.Listening to your presentations I get the definite feeling that I have a challenge with focus. It is going to be difficult to fit the 2 hr sessions in but I’ll have to make the effort .I WANT THE SUCCESS DUE TO ME!
Hi Steveim a 25 year old man from Mexico, looking for my personal succes. I know that out there in world there`s a bunch of business genius that can help me to achieve my goals with some great advice… and for me, you`re one of them. Thanks for all this info, and i hope that is not too late for me to begin my path. (i know that some success business owners began much earlier than me) Thanks again and take care.

hello there, absolutely true. I do some of that things daily
, but train myself to not to do them. its really incredible how focus we can be after stopping all destructions and mind mix and go focused just for one thing, I can tell it works.thanks for valuable video.maros
Steve, I really admire your professionalism and knowledge, but what really puts the icing on the cake, is that you go out of your way to respond to your posts. Not just one, for good image, but many of them. That is not only an excellent quality of a leader, but one of a selfless giver….. Right on!
Steve,I have experienced all 4 of these saboteurs. I am particularly victum of the one on rest and relaxation. I must make a commitment to change this. Thanks for the insite.Jim Body
Interesting! 1) I work for a company at the moment where management insists on multi-tasking; and seldom give two days off in a row if they can avoid it! After having been in business for myself or in management most of my life, this has been a shock. Hours worked in a given day are also all over the clock, which i find rough on health as well. 2) I had a LOL moment because my computer is, at the moment, giving me fits…top priority is replacing it asap. But, at a deeper level…and looking forward…this is wonderful information to keep on tap! Thanks again for providing so much, both in and out of the 21-day program. I’m sure similar information is available with other ‘gurus’, but your approach seems to be very on target for me, and I’m gaining a lot.
I am definitely guilty of multitasking! I almost feel guilty if I am not multitasking! Also not taking 2 full days off away from the computer etc. So thanks, for the tips, I definitely need to make more time for myself and relax.
Thanks Steve for this wonderful video. I am guilty of multi-tasking and that feeling of doing so much but nothing really getting done. Thank you for the wonderful insights, I will definately work on this and slow down!! Your videos are so very helpful. Thank You Again, Pam
Hey Steve, Thank you for the wonderful information. I will apply it to my business Pre-Paid Legal Services.Have a nice day.
Hi Steve,You certainly hit the nail on the head with this one. Working from home with a rampant 3 year old I can only imagine how I can get 23 hours at a time with no distractions! I do know I ahve to do this to get things done though. Thanks for reminding me
Thanks, Steve, for including the e-book. I think the material is priceless. I wish it was applied more in the business world and in the educational settings.
Hi,Steve, thank you so much for this video. You give great content and advice.I like your honest and valuable information.I will be using the 4 solutions,as a woman I was given myself multitasks and not managing my time.I have 3 young kids and tima and energy managment is vital.I cant thank you enough.Warmest regards.
Thank you Steve, as I totally relate to the 4 sabotuers!! I am new to the workings of an online income vehicle and have found myself distracted by all the “noise” on the internet. It’s funny because I actually know when I’m wasting time by the feeling in my “gut”! It truely takes a concentrated effort to train myself daily to do the actions you so rightly suggest. And again, I find everyone’s comments supportive and helpful. I realize I am one of many struggling to take manage MYSELF!!Doug
Steve,
The information is spot-on and it’s useful for so many of us. Even experienced people can benefit from this. And you’re right, if the super-successful are doing this there’s no reason it won’t work for people that are just getting started. The point is to not make excuses and just do it. Thank you for all that you do.
Allen
Awesome, essential information for anyone, whether in business or not. As I was starting your video I had my second computer up with another website I was reviewing and had the mind chatter going as to multiple streams of income and what new businesses I am looking at. Your talk made me sit back and reflect what it is I am doing and how to focus and complete one task at a time. Thank you.
Hi Steve, I have really enjoyed the programme so far, some great insights. I have already put some of them into practice and will continue to heed your advice. The attraction of multi tasking has always handicapped me. This clear message warning me against its insidious undermining of my effort I will take on board and organise my focus on one task at a time organising my day around a minimum of two hour sessions.
Very important material thank you Steve, I’ll get on it Monday. I will have a better week because of this presentation.
Hello Steve, Great information.Gerald Goodwin
you are really good. I have always been a mutitasker because there are always several things going on at once. but I am finding in my new business online this is not working because I am too new. I am going to do what you say to do. what really caught my attention was checking the emails. almost seems like an obsession. thank you
Steve, One of my favorite thought leaders is Jim Rohn. You are very quickly becoming my second. Your wisdom is profoundly shared and delivered with sincere care about others. My list is building simply by sending your thoughts to them. You are very much appreciated. Abundant Blessings,Kellie
Hello Steve, thank you for your very wise words. It’s so much true what you say. I see myself doing thing on most parts opposite way as you say it should be done. I hope I will be able to listen to your words over and over to work very hard on erasing old habits and replacing them with new ones. The ones you teach and helping us to succeed.Thank you Steve for adding values into our lives. I personally love to know about people like you. I just want to mention , I had chance to meet personally Steven Covey, and people like you Steve and Steven Covey you guys are treasures. Thank you again for sharing with us.Patrik
Hi Steve,Thanks much. I’ve always wonder why I have not achievied my goals. I am guilty of all you mentioned. I will endeavour to keep focus on these saboteurs.
Hi Steve, I am 64 and never written before. I am really impressed by yourpoints and will try them. I am especially impressed by the exercise you gave Daniel and tried it myself with shocking results. I have completed many succesful projects and businesses and yet I never made much money from them. I am now desperately trying to re invent myself and find a way to start again with nothing but myself. I think the people who write to your site are very decent people. I hope they and you are all very succesful.
Hello Steve,I just had a chance to view this video and found the information right on point. Like others, I have had to deal with these saboteurs on a daily basis. I have made note of your suggestions and will download the ebook for review. Thanks again, for your sharing.Wayne Hollowayhttp://www.twitter.com/jolloway
Thank you so much Steve for your time and all you share. I am an elderly trying home-business Mom…and this was great. I have to be more or less organised, but this inspires me to form a more definite plan. I have taken a time-managing course before, but yours is much more easier to apply. I get carried away by all four:-( Now I am going to work on that to change.Greetings from Berlin to you and your family. Nanette
Excuse me Steve, if I write again. I see how much your course will be, but have not the possibility to fulfill it all at the moment. Is there another way round? Also I do not possess a credit card and was wondering if I could manage it again over PayPal. Would be glad for your answer.P.S. Great to see fellow Germans here and also from S.Africa. I lived there for some years.
Hi one n’all … a super home workers educational video thanks to you … I have never really been troubled by multi tasking I do it every day to me this of course if all the tasking gels with the main concept of whatever your really in to! … this can be so beneficial … such as jumping from one website to another of interest then commenting your thoughts to another blog of interest that’s in your niche of interest you can then uterlise these links to your own blogs of better still your twitter account this kind of live wire multi-tasking can be of benefit not only you but also your followers … time is the hardest task to deal with tick-a-tick tick Time … Time spent on your computer blows the day away … so I have my own rules that I focus on here, I get up each day in time to see the sun come up … through out the day a bonus is interacting with my family especially with my grand-kids on a regular basis when possible depending on there days of working and schooling … a big plus is I have my own simple health exercises I love to do at least 4 times a day in 5 to 15 minutes fun sessions … if it ain’t fun it wont be done! … then I relax by enjoying the days fresh air by walking my dog at least 4 x 1/2 hour walks playing ball with her … and then seeing the sun go down I feel my day has has its fullness satisfied life’s spans credits worth … I am retired but not tired of my life style this is something you have to workout all on your own-some and the sooner the better… All my best to you and whats in your dayPhillip Skinner
Wow Steve. You hit the nail right on the head again. Over the last few years I’ve been studying highly successful entrepreneurs and have identified all 4 areas you covered here. As you know, awareness and understanding are the first steps in solving a problem. I have also discovered a few more personal behavious traits of successful entrepreneurs and since modelling them, I’ve experienced so much positive change in both my business and personal life. Knowing that this information can really help other entrepreneurs and business owners.
Because as you know, success is predictable when you follow tried and tested, proven strategies! Ade Shokoya -
thanks for helping me see clearer the tasks I need to do to make my business successful. I have been doing all 4 of the saboteurs you have mentioned and I knew there was a better way. You have given me a clear guideline to work with and now I can focus and stay on task along with the times needed in my week and day to truly make my entrepreneurial spirit work for positive growth.
Steve, thank you so much for the treasury of wisdom in this lesson. I had a gut feeling this was major, but the screaming from the “distractions” (include guilt-inducing mis-inculcated ideas from the popular culture) was so loud, I could not hear my soul think.
I am shutting down and “going home” for the weekend to rest and restore. I have a serious outdoors-in-the-air-and-sunshine deficit, so maybe I’ll be back Monday!
Ta!
Establishing routines to efficiently handle day-to-day chores comes naturally to me; but I’m still (after more than a year online) uncertain of how to handle the onslaught of emails I receive daily. Most are simply long-winded offers, but 1-in-5 actually have value to me or my business. Often these emails come from unrecognized senders, so I am leery of deleting emails without opening them.I would love to establish a routine for handling email.
You completely blew my mind about multi tasking. I better be more focus from now on. Two hours block? So many distractions, it’s a challange to avoid them.Thank you, they are really true & useful!
Steve, thank you for this insightful article. I was especially wowed by the part on Multitasking and that of Mind Clatter. I am one who likes to do a lot of different tasks at the same time, i.e., I sometimes work on several books at the same time, and on various learning systems together. However, after reading your info I had an interesting thing happen. You see, I wasn’t really convinced that being Focused and not doing Multitasking was all that important. But, when I went to bed that night I had a very disturbing dream. When I awoke, I realized that in the dream everything around me was in chaos–everything! All my papers were scatered around on my desk, and I didn’t know where to begin on anything! That’s when I realized the full value of How to Overcome the Top 4 Success Saboteurs. I will keep the copy near me as I work, to remind me of the RIGHT way to succeed!
Steve, This is really priceless information. It is counterintuitive to the prevailing culture of multitasking which as you said is very inefficient since one is constantly ramping up and down small slices of your daily goals and not doing any one of them very well. Also the thought of taking breaks every couple of hours to recharge also goes against the current culture but it does work well since the end product one is working on is accomplished with greater thoroughness and efficiency than would otherwise be the case.
SteveAs a constant multi-tasker, you advise was timely.. Now comes to fun part, standing my ground when others require me to shift my attention. You have given my the inspiration to do this, that I have been needing for a while. Thank you….
Steve, This is the most helpful video for marketers that I have ever been sent. Like most Newbie’s I am guilty of everything you are telling us not to do.Even while trying to watch the video, I was checking e-mail and responding,UNTIL I heard you in the background saying that was one of the 4 things not to do.I have up until about ten minutes ago been a serious multitasker, with a to-dolist that NEVER got completed. Thank’s to you, I am going to reform and regroup my priorities. Also, I am now (right now) GOING TO UNSUBSCRIBE TO EVERY E-MAIL LIST (other than yours). Joyce
Retired and loving it. My day is spent mostly fixing things around the house. The older it gets the more there is to fix. I am easily distracted and find myself doing three or more things at a time. My kids say I have ADHD. It is most distracting when the paint brush dries before I get back to it. A 2hr block? I dont do many things because they take longer than that. I do find a calendar helps keep track of weekly planing but daily stuff requires a list that I check off as done. Then plan the next day around whats left. Thanks, C.Walborn
Hi Charles,
Thank you for your comment.
I wonder if you can see that the ‘ADHD-like’ behavior you describe may be a function of the list system you are using. Either way, while it may not be effecting the pleasure of retirement for you, it is most definitely curtailing accomplishment.
I suspect if you looked at it closely you would find that a significant percentage of the ‘tasks’ you pass forward from one days task list to the next actually don’t get done. Experts report that for the average person it is a high as 70% of them. It may be a lower number for you because presumably there are relatively few tasks that have completion ‘expiration’ dates in them as they would if they were serving a vocation or business.
While a 2 hour block of time may not fit the profile of the tasks you are doing personally, keep in mind that I propose this as an absolute minimum and do not suggest it is optimal. The key principle in this lesson is to reserve as large a block of time as possible….days if necessary…to dedicate for each work effort.
If you are up to it, try it my way for a month and see if you don’t end up more accomplished.

I look forward to hearing what happens.

Hi Steve,I loved the ebook! The fact that you state those little reminders so clearly is something that can be transferred into my daily life. Thanks!
Very good, thank you
SPOT ON! I have been trying for two months to get started. I do sales training (that is, I want to do that), or at least I used to do, until I got retrenched. Anyway, I’ve set up my own company, and I want to go out and coach people in sales. However, its not that easy calling up companies every day asking them if they would be interested. I have tried doing the right sales presentations making prospect lists, but actually sitting down to call these companies that I am prospecting, is a killer, and what if they say no, that’s it then, they are the only good ones I really want, because the are big, and got the money… I think. BUT, I have never gotten started, everyday checking friends emails, facebook, linkedin, etc., and by the time I didn’t know what to do, it was already dinner time…. Starting tomorrow, I will put off, 2hrs, for objection handling training (this time for myself), 2hrs for my sales pitch, 2hrs, for cold calls, 2 hrs for making a powerful presentation, and I will continue till I get customers, and if I don’t obviously I’m doing something wrong, so I will adjust accordingly.THANK YOU STEVE!!!
Hi Steve, this is very useful information. I manage to follow your advice for other pursuits, but as soon as I get infront of a computer I start multitasking, getting distracted, I get friction and I don’t seem to be very aware of my mind (as in mind-chatter). So what do you think is the problem?
Thanks for your video, a lot of very helpful info that I needed and will benefit from.
Thank you, Steve, Your input is helpful. I appreciate the time you take to share from your experiences.Blessings to you,Anne
Thank you share this invaluable insight for top 4 success saboteurs video and this so helpful. Thanks/Jasmin
I look forward to implementing this information. thanks.
Hello steve,
this was just what I needed at this point, very profound insight into how to organize myself. Thank you for the info!
Hello Steve,Well, you certainly have a lot to say that I am interested in.I agree and can see the value in your work and I can see how some things can apply to me.We all need to work on ourselves to fine tune out abilities.I keep listening to your lessons and I am always suprised that there is something that I can use. Most if the time I half listen the these things because I don’t find them relevant to mysituation.I am not sure that your course would be of any use to me except in the general aspect or self improvement. I took your survey at the beginning and while it was very interesting it didn’t hit the mark. Not because there was anything inherently incorrect with your analysis it is because I don’t fit into the business box.Now I understand that Everything is business and all things are sales even your pet begging for breakfast. That was a Big lesson for me. No it was just that I have noticed that all theseHow to improve your…. self, business, life, etc. leave out one large catagory.I noticed this when I was reading the Popcorn Report years ago, and have followed it as a phenomenom for years. It is like we as contributers to society do not exist as a quantifiable contribution.Yet often society is defined by out work. We have often disparaged ourselves by all kinds of self distructive and self indulgent behaviors.I am an annomely In that I often persue ventures like yours but then I find it difficult to apply what is said.I am talking about Fine Artists and even craft people. It is a whole other world and not one that is easy to get help with.Do you know that a great many art & craft schools have been preempted for computer and business aspects.I know one school that lost it’s entire craft department (a large one) because on the survey practically non of the graduate students could say that they had a job ie. become an employee. Of course the fact that most of them were successful entrepranurs therefore self employed was of no importance.Twenty years later when all the people are aging and looking to pass their businesses on there are very few young people moving in.However I digress,In my situation I do portraits and I talk a lot and do little. I have given it a good effort from time to time but I have missed the mark, not because i am not talented, I am very good, but this sort of thing is a deep well with a two inch opening.I have not found anybody who addresses my specific issues It is either BIG business tactics or Selling techniques.Non of which is a comfortable fit in selling your art. Things are changing but still I think that I have lost the battle.Well that is on the bad days.On the good days I read your videos and think maybe. So thanks for the boost Steve, you are doing good things for people.PaulaPS sorry to ramble. There is a lesson in here somewhere.P
Steve:The best thing I got out of this is to take some time out for yourself. I constantly find myself going in a 100 different directions at the sane time and at the end of the day I sometimes wonder what I have accomplished. On those rare occasions where I decide to goof off a little, maybe go get a cup of Starbucks or just walk around in a store or blow everything off and read a couple of chapters in a book I am interested in I find that I come back to the tasks at hand with a renewed effort and better focus. Too often we all forget about ourselves and what our needs are.
have been enjoying your videos, and find them helpful. Thanks
Hi Steve, thank you so much for all the videos you produce to help people all over the world. I fully agree with you and I find the rest so important and the time away from the business once in a while. Thank you for sharing everything. Kirsten from Denmark
Hi Steve,This information comes at the perfect time for me. My husband and I have been battling these sabateurs while trying to revamp our insurance business and upgrade our cusomer care. The word “rest” has been infrequently in our vocabularies recently, although we’v been taking one day a week off for liesure/fun activities. But my body and mind and spirit have been telling me “one day is not enough… you need two!”While I use my calendar, I fill it with little boxes for small tasks and appointments. I will begin with the calendar changes, and will continue to file the clutter that’s all over my office and desk due to multi-tasking. The thought of a neat, efficient and peaceful workspace sounds so appealing! I know my ability to take on several new management positions will be considerably easier as I initiate you process in my life.Blessings,Carol

Thanks, Steve. I’m guilty on all 4 counts –thanks so much for the clear and practical solutions, especially the work blocks and taking time between them. And routines, so efficient. They are such common sense that you would think they should have been natural to us! Thanks for opening my mind.
hey stevethis is a very inspirational video you have put together here. and oh.. so.. true!!thanks again & i did take it all in!very good ideas and very professional!
Good Grief! It is Saturday, and I was figuring out what would be a good offer on a condo (making calculations with a calculator) and cleaning off my desk WHILE listening to your video. I hope I am not incurable.
As for emails, my business IS emails (photos of wounds for me to do consultations on). What I plan to do is keep those emails totally separate from all others. They have to be more secure anyway, but your video helped me see the value of having separate email for the actual work of my business.
I love your videos! I have deleted all the other things that come in.
Thank you Steve, so much for reminding me of what I need to do. I realize I have been a victim to all of these traits as I was starting up my business plan. Working from home has had benefits but again losing sight of setting up my own rituals to rest and renew. I am in my 5th month of starting my business and have alot to learn and accomplish.
Luckily part of my business is finding tools that are effective in managing a more healthy lifestyle. This months focus is on yoga and meditation exercises.
I also decided to change my thinking of planning my projects with Anthony Robbins RPM Plan which includes chunking in the 2 hrs for the projects I am working on to get moving with my internet marketing business. I am also learning I need to chunk in time to live a healthy personal life .
This has been challenging in that I have been jumping from one task to another. Email, research etc without the accomplishments I had been hoping for. Thanks for the” The perfectBizFinder Entrepreneurial strengths survey results, it described my strengths perfectly.
I look forward to more of your information.
Yours sincerely
Visma Mesley
Hi Steve, I certainly enjoyed you video and you really hit the nail on the head. I find myself doing all of those things. I am currently looking for a business to do from home but I don’t have a product and most of the businesses I have looked at are really mostly a scam. Your information was very real and I thank you.Donna
Steve, I thank you for the info about the four saboteurs. Almost every word you said hit me dead on. And it’s frustrating to be that way too. I hope I can use this for the future success of my business as it looks like you have. Thanks again, carry on sir. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
very good. I am concerned with mind chattering. I will try to apply your advises.
Thanks Steve, I had’nt heard of completely unplugging, I was always told you should have your antennas up at all times, this was frustrating to me because if i wasn’t looking for prospects i would feel guilty for just enjoying the moment for myself or time with my family. That meant no down time. This information you shared today was freeing and makes a lot of sense. Thanks so much for giving of yourself to help others to become successful.
Great advice. I killed my email and unsubbed from a bunch of lists straight after watching it. Set 4 goals to be accomplished in 2+hour blocks for all next week so I can really kick off my sales of online services to offline businesses (anyone here want the front page of Google LOL).Had a 15 minute snooze (I like that one – best advice I have had since forever). Now about to block out the tasks in the diary. First one is “systems” so I can sell my business if I ever get sick of it …Thanks Steve – how come your 21 day progaram is so cost effective?
Good advice but missing an important point. Typically entrepreneurs assemble teams. I have my life invested in collaborative processes that help people work together better. This is the focus of http://www.patientdoctoralliance.com . So, my most important question is: how do you coordinate a group of 6 inter-disciplinary team members to overcome these 4 saboteurs at the same time.. so we all work together synergistically and get more done … together?
How about delegation of authority, responsibility and or tasks? Would this solve multi-tasking sabotage? I am on that situation primarily because my job is managing a multi-purpose cooperative. epineto
Steve:Wow…Well-spoken and well-delivered! I am on the verge of starting a business and the timing of the arrival of what you stand for couldn’t come at a better time. I am ready to move myself to the next level–not only business-wise, but personally. I have been stuck and buried in self-defeating beliefs and it is now I am ready to soar. All the things that sabatoge me and my work are wasting my time and others. Its time to get real, be real, and walk and work in truth.Obviously, you are in your truth…the Dr. Phil of entrepreneurs.
Great information! Thanks for everything you share Steve!!!
Thanks, Steve. Very relevant for me.
Thank you, Steve for explaining how the 4 saboteurs are overcame. How to break the cycle and achieve positive results. This is a lesson that has to be practiced to fully understand. Thank you again for this video.
Thank you Steve for bringing me back to earth. I had drawn up my own schedule based on my movements rather than time, although they are given blocks of time to work within, this had been diverted to deal with the non-essentials. You are right. In thinking that the need to clear my inbox etc was important has taken me from the focus needed to progress. I realize too that the joy and passion that i had, the fresh ideas that used to come spilling from my mind is noticeably absent and i miss the excitement that used to have that down stream flow, that has now turned to an uphill battle. The solutions to these 4 saboteurs are brilliant. I shall redesign my schedule to include your solutions. Again, thank you, i appreciate the valuable content of your experience that you have shared and am seriously considering registering with you. For all the ‘guru’s’ who have offered their courses, this fits me best. Thank you:)
Steve,
Thanks so much for sharing your expertise with everyone (especially me). Seven years ago following an accident, I couldn’t’ stay standing to teach grade school for long periods of time – thus the beginning of my internet business! Although my back has gotten better, I’ve given up teaching and have tried and tried to ‘grow’ my business. However, on a shoe-string budget (still after 7 years), I’m just barely doing better than a part-time Avon lady. I’m fast approaching burn-out and your video arrived just in time. Since I’m the only one in my ‘company’ now, I’m the chief, cook, and bottle washer. I would LOVE to be able to hire someone to delegate a lot of little things to, but that’s not in the budget right now either. Any suggestions on that?
Bless you and thank you again.
I really enjoyede this video session. I heard of these before and been applying them to the the success I like to have.
Dear Steve, I’m one step clearer on this business. It has made a big difference to me in the way this opportunity has been presented to me. I feel I can trust you and PerfectBizFinder. I want to do affiliate marketing as my first Internet business. I faxed my W-9 to your office today. Are you going to tell me to get an accountant right now if I ask a question about sole proprietor vs LLC structure? I checked sole proprietor but I may want to change that to LLC. Does that form stay with you or do I have to deal with the IRS to change it if I decide to? I have a course from the SBA on writing a business plan, it’s free (www.sba.gov/training). Do you go over business plans? How much money will I need and for what to get started? I self capitalize, meaning it comes out of my paycheck. I realize my next step is purchase TPBF course. I can do this on the 19th. Do I need the legal stuff in place before I do affiliate marketing? If so, I will have to wait 2 months. I must take care of one bill and then I can start spending on the business. At least I have a timetable. Do you see any major things I missed? I would appreciate a reply back. Thanks, Karen
Hi Karen!
Thank you for your inquiry. So many great questions! =0)
I totally love your energy!.
I’ve answered then each privately as extensively as I believe you’ll need initially.
In general I think it can be advantageous to hold off on writing a formal ‘business plan’ at this juncture. I find that this often puts the proverbial cart before the horse and you end up making such extensive changes that it wastes a lot of time and energy which could be otherwise and better invested in building the business itself.
Its NOT that I don’t think you’ll ever need a business plan. It is really a matter of determining when a business plan will actually serve you and doing it then.
In my opinion you’re better served by using ThePerfectBizFinder Program to identify all the critical aspects that define your perfect business and the financial and lifestyle returns you expect FIRST. Then you’ll be able to proceed with confidence, clarity and efficiency.
As those in my PerfectBizBuilder Coaching Mastermind can attest to, my opinion self financing is by far the superior path to taking on investors and debt. There is a distinction to be made between good debt and bad debt for business, but you’ll learn that in this program when you need to also.
So again, in general terms I would not get too wrapped in a lot of legalese at this stage. Let’s get you started and prove a viable business model before you invest a lot of time and energy on things that are not truly relevant to your success.
I’m look forward to helping you create the business that delivers everything you want.
I’m standing for all that’s possible for you in life and business.
Sincerely,
Steve
PS – Keep feeding us your amazing energy. It’s awesome!
Thanks Steve,
Yes, I’m guilty on all 4 counts too. Special thanks for the solutions, spot on!
No wonder I’m constantly struggling with unfinished tasks und projects, and
going nowhere fast yet! Not resting during the day has’nt helped either!
That will all change now, I am very inspired!
Steve,
I must say that these top (4) four things that you have mentioned has further increased my awareness with my pursuit of success.
I do check my e-mail habitually like I am expecting an important message. This is something that I need to set a specific time during the day to check my e-mails and then for the rest of the day focus on my 2 hour blocks of time and then take my 15-30 minute rest breaks in between.
Now the routines that I do daily is something that has become a habit. This is mainly geared toward my spiritual and self development.
As far as the Rest and recovery for the 2 day off idea is something else that I should also consider. I suppose that by applying a regular Monday through Friday routine with (2) two hour blocks of time with breaks and then on the weekends just get away from all of it should work out find. As a matter of fact, since it is the weekend starting today, I just may do that.
Another thing that I might add is that a daily (30) thirty minute meditation session is a must in order to CLEAR YOUR MIND from everything in order to recenter yourself. This is something that should be practiced on a daily basis in order to RENEW yourself.
I thank you for taking the time to share this with the group and I did hear that you are closing the Blog as well? One of my strengths is in Training and should you make the decision to reach out to more people with this kind of insight, I would be more than willing to work out something with you so that I can do Webinars and more.
Again, thank you and I will put this into practice.

Hi Steve…
I am a ‘contemporary’ painter…if that expression has any meaning! I have been
attracted to your sessions because of your philosophy… I can’t really consider myself
a business person… probably the farthest thing from it! But I am interested in
thinking about your approach to ‘focusing’ on the issues that apply to ones daily
activities… and whether or not those activities are ‘business’ or ‘fine art painting’,
the dynamics are the same…
You seem to be really focusing on addressing the ‘human condition’… and
attempting to accommodate those factors in an intelligent way…
I will look deeper into what you’re saying…
thanks
Gary
Hey, I LOVE the 2 hours of focused energy and then 15-30 mins of nothing or meditation. I’m so glad to hear you say that multi tasking is not the thing to do. I think the devil created it. All I have to do is think about people who are the BEST at what they do. They DO NOT multi-task it. Who’d want their surgeon booking more appointments while performing surgery.
Hi Steve I’ve read the book the Book “the Secret” and watched the movie several times. I’ve also read Jack Canfield’s the Success Principles 3-4 times and I’m involved in a personnel self help program that I’ve been doing fo rhte past year and I wanted to say that all these things that you’ve said in your videos all ties in together so why not learn from successful people such as Joe Vitale Jack Canfield Anthony Robbins Bob Proctor T Harv Eker and so on I just wanted to say Thank You so very much its a great inspiration to have others share their wealth and knowledge on this subject. My biggest thing is to avoid negative reaction and lack of support form family members who seem to have an answer for everything … How do you deal with that issue? any ideas Thnx George in Canada
Steve, I’m signed up for the coaching course, is the 21 day course different? If not, is the Perfect biz finder e-book included in the coaching mentor course? Is the coaching an extension of the E-book? Thank you BTW for this video blog and the content herein todays was great! Just a little confused about the 21 day course as the sales rep that called me about the coaching and mentoring told me it should be 7 months. Thx again for all you do Philip Baldwin
First Off, let me commend your clearness on this subject. I am not an expert on this subject, but after studying your article, my understanding has improved well. Please tolerate me to take hold of your rss feed to stay in touch with any upcoming updates. Genuine job and will pass it on to acquaintances and my web site fans.
Thanks Steve – your info is well presented and most informative. cheers Kaye
This has been the most useful video of all for me!! I have all 4 saboteurs. So what I have done is to completely erase both bulletin boards. One now has the list of the dreaded 4 with their counters. The second board has a calender with tasks and when they are to be complete, neatly broken into (close to) 2 hour blocks of time. And also, I will no longer feel panic when I take a day off!
Sorry Steve, but your videos have to go since they are about a 1 hr distraction during my work day…hahaha…maybe I’ll watch on my off time…

Excellent recommendations for what you have described are common problems, especially the mind chatter. I do like separating yourself away from the business for a couple of days a week. I would say most people do not follow this advice. Thanks for covering these points and your solutions
Wow! I suspected that I would get ‘dinged’ (if you will) on one or two of these, but I had no idea that I would fall into all four categories! You make this sound so simple to correct and I certainly want to get to this place. Maried
Steve, I find that I get distacted pretty easy, and I am not at all for multi tasking.
I like to focus on, and master one item at a time, so I find it good to here you say
that this is a bad thing. I am just starting out in a buisness and in the process
of putting all the key elements to gether to get it of the ground.
Thanks
Jason
Thanks steve Im glad to know it’s ok to relax. also I enjoyed the part about the calender 2 hours then take a break
Hi Steve, Once again that was truly great you know, this Just the wild wonderful brain decided that it would keep me extra busy instead of focusing on one thing a t a time so yes truly good to be reminded as I get caught up in it , have a wonderful day Steve and as I said thank you ever so much for sharing that with me .Estelle
This is my favorite segment so far. It’s practical info that I can use immediately. It changes the way I plan my day and think about breaks and time off. Good stuff!
Steve,
Good information. never realized that i needed to take time off to be successfull. I grew up with the old wisdom of- “the harder you work, the more success you will have”.
Steve,
I was proud of my ability to multi-task but in reality it is clear to me now as to why I have not accomplished anything at the level I want. I am a “Balanced”, “Balanced”, “Balanced”, “Prevailing”, “Orderly”, “Controlled” in the Performance competency matrix. So, I need a structure and routine to succeed and in this video, I believe you have given me that structure. Yes, e-mail, and mind chatter are biggest problems for me and I have decided to follow your advice verbatim. I am still struggling with the mental blocks and I don’t know what they are precisely what is holding me back and once I know them I can take action to remove them and put myself on the path of success which has been my goal all the time but not the results that I want. If you have any suggestions, I’d welcome them and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Again, this video has been extremely valuable and I have begun to put them in practice starting right now. One thing you have shown me is that just as you need a lit candle to light another candle, you are the lit candle and I am ready to follow your lead.
Thanks you very much.
Art
Steve, Thank you very much very appreciated!…
Hello, Thankyou so much for reminding me of this. I will have to practice this more often. Distractions boy can I relate. I have been having a hard time taking breaks in between for my mind has been having too much chatter. Multi tasking yeah I agree it does waste time. Thankyou and I will implement this list.
Thanks, Steve,
I can see now that I’ve been sabotaging myself for years as I have never been able to concentrate on doing at least one thing to completion. I have so many projects going on, I have no time to devote to any of them, so nothing gets done. My personal life is a mess, I make only enough money to get by, I’m nervous and agitated all the time and take it out on my family. This has helped me see myself…and its time for a change. I intent to concentrate on completing the one thing that will ensure my future. I intend to allow myself some “down time” without guilt and worry. I will make my love life relaxing and enjoyable. I will schedule my life around happiness and what really creates it instead of running myself ragged. Great help in forcing me to see the self I am versus what I should be.
Great stuff, I now thinking more of developing a franchise myself rather than selling the idea!
Steve you are a great help to my mind set on business
Hi Steve,
I had been sbotaging myself earlier in my career by doing all the things you said should not have been done. Then came the emotional, mental and physical collapse, after which I was forced to do my work the way you recommended, and my biz has shown improvement year on year, unlike previously, when I had unhealthy work habits and everything just stagnated.
Thank you so much for bringing things back into focus. Looking forward to your next email!
Hey Steve,
Mindbreaking information there. It’s like Tony Robbins says “It’s that tiny difference that you make that takes you to drastically higher success over time”.
I appreciate all the insights and help you are giving everybody.
Thanks
Kenneth
Steve,
Loved the tips! They were very insightful and thoughtful. Also appreciate the e-book so I can go back and look at the info and tips again.
Thanks, Laura
Hello Steve,
We are in transition with our two home businesses because of my husband’s health. This series has been confirming much of what we’re reading elsewhere and is in a form we can use as a family. Thank you.
We’ll be in touch. Shelly
Hi Steve,
Nice to meet another Bay Area Entrepreneur!
Love your video series, especially this one..
Trying to get things done while being interrupeted via Skype,SmartPhone Texting etc has often left me feeling frazzeled, tired and not accomplishing most important money making activities for the week. You in addition to 3 others I know in other lines of work all seem to perform well and all Timeblock their activities. I got to the point I had to put my phone in the other room to get things done but it sure helped!
Again, love the videos and if you plan on attending Biztech Day in San Francisco this October let me know, would love to meet you in person.
Lastly, I don’t know if your other videos are going to cover this but if not allow me to ask here. I’ve transitioned out from corporate life some time ago and am still struggling in trying to fill the “Business Social Void” of my life. In corporate life when you show up your friends are usually there, aside from marketing or meeting with new clients do you have any suggestions on this for us socially inclined folks?
Thanks,
Cheers,
Tim
Steve,
Great information, as usual. I am convinced that multi-tasking is costly in many ways, usually all the things that I am attempting to accomplish turn out less well done than if I had focused on one thing at at time.
Mind chatter… yeah, that one is a serious issue, I have trouble shutting it down at times, it takes a concerted effort!
Thanks for the help. ~ Ron
Hi Richar; This has been a really productive insight lesson, since most of the faulty actions ( all) you pinpoint were being done by me without really “getting it”. Thanks for your time. I’ll go back to the drawing board to redesign my action days. Have you thought about the spanish speaking market? There is room for your insight and teachings.
Hi Tim,
Thank you for your comment. Yes this is a very challenging area for people. Particularly those that are making the transition you are making.
The best suggestions I can make regarding the generation of social business connection with others is to join in a community of other successful entrepreneurs.
ThePerfectBizBuilder Members area is one kind of online community designed to foster these kinds of connections. There are lots of opportunities to connect with like minded people through that community.
I would also recommend a Mastermind group. I am a member of several, some of which are free. Be sure to join one that is relevant to your business interests and that has successful entrepreneurs actively participating.
Lastly, using the methods you learned in this lesson, schedule a time on your calendar specifically dedicated to creating social business connections. Starbucks or internet cafe’s can be a great place to so this.
I hope this helps.
I believe I will create a lesson that covers this in more detail. Thanks for the suggestion. =0))
Sincerely,
Steve
I like the simplicity with which you express things that really become overwhelming for those of us trying to make a high quality living style from working through internet, and somehow manage to keep extremely busy with results far from those I dream. Thanks for the tip. Heidi
