This presentation gives you 4 practical actions you can take right now to immediately advance your success in business (and in life).
Building a successful business is as much about developing your individual capacity to succeed as it is creating or marketing “slick” products. There is no doubt you will be challenged along the way. All business owners are.
What makes the difference between the wildly successful, the average successes, and those who struggle is the degree to which you master personal success practices and habits necessary to generate the success you seek.
In this presentation I shared 4 simple success tips that will dramatically accelerate your success. You can see from the comments below that this lesson has had a big impact on a multitude of others thus far, so let me challenge you to try them out for 21 days and see what happens.
I am excited to read your thoughts and about the success these techniques help you generate.
Do you see evidence of these 4 saboteurs in your experiences thus far?
Do you see how the techniques I’ve shared with you will help you avoid these success thieves?
Please share your insights by commenting below.
Keep an eye out for my next email. It contains a link to a resource which builds on what you’ve received thus far and guarantees you win-big in life and business.

Thanks Steve for todays message.. although I know this, it is always so important to hear it again.. often times over and over… then… over and over.. because we are creatures of habit, we tend to just always be on automatic (reaction)…so even though I am very busy with work daily, I force myself to take 15 min. or so to listen to your messages and reflect or do an exercise on them… I have passed them onto my son as I know he too will benefit..
Look forward to more and more..
Thank you,
Christine
thank you Steve for this important thema.I’ll use the tehniques.
God bless YOU !

Thanks, friend. Very helpful advice and useful practices!
Hi!
Thank you very much. I’m trying hard to get off the poverty state of mind. This helps a lot.
hi,
the facts on these situations are v v helpful. especially the 2h focus.
Thanks.
Hi Steve…You have no idea how grateful I am for these messages. This time you’ve made 4 direct hits on the nail. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
I was focused on the goals list, and only used my calender for quick notes. Now, I get it and will revamp my system.
It is difficult when on Facebook and having a lot of friends, playing their games and trying to live up to someone elses expectations of what I should be doing. I always wake up to no less than a couple of HUNDRED e-mails a day, and it truly got to me; especially after making an announcement on my page that I would not be on for a full week so I could get my business needs accomplished. I guess it’s just rudeness on their part, because they work outside the home and have no clue what I’m trying to accomplish. I guess I just need to completely switch them off, which I did last night, and they apparently read my notice this time. But when I do get the e-mails such as today…I delete them.
Thanks again for stressing ‘focus’ because that’s something I wasn’t doing because of all the interruptions. This is totally GREAT! I look forward to the next time.
Best, Lea
Hi Steve
I am so grateful to get those lessons online.
your lessons are extremely brief and accurate, I am astonished.
You are excellent.
This lesson is very very important. The most important for me is that a person should totally relax which I thought is not necessary.
I will follow your advice.
Thank you.
Steve,
thank you for this video lesson. Very helpful! A while ago I started to go through my task list each morning and pick out the most important things that need to be accomplished that day and put it in the calendar. It makes all the difference. And if something changes and I can’t get it done, then I can reschedule it and it stays a top priority, because it’s in my calendar.
Again, thank you!
Dear Steve, thanks again, how wonderful to see the comments. You read them all I know.
I’m eagerly awaiting your next addition each day. YOU are a highly developed spirit assisting us all and we will never forget you, you are the kind of philanthropist who uplifts humanity.
Thank-you!!
I do spend too much time with email and will take steps to remedy this problem. I really can’t see taking 2 days off a week from my business, but I will try it and see if it makes a difference in my productivity.
Hi Lena –
I am very familiar with Simpleology. Mark Joyner and I are good friends and participate in a Mastermind together.
I find the principles of his system very valuable despite the fact that we have a few practical differences.
There are no hard and fast rules in this regard. Only principles. The key is that you develop a system that serves you and helps you become and remain productive.
If you’re not completing the tasks you’re keeping on your list you may nee to revisit the process, the tasks or both.
I’m sorry about the problem you continue to have with you computer. I’m sure you’ll receive an email with the replay link.
Steve
Hi Steve. You are right as always, almost every time.
Of course I have been a victim of all these success-saboteurs. You have to learn the hard way. In Simpleology, I have learned the importance of time and the three sources of power. Time, Energy and Money. Time is Money and Time spent is lost forever. It´s funny, you mentioned the to-do-list. In Simpleology you practice a to-do-list, but as you mentioned, you rarely do all the tasks in a to-do list.
I listened to the Webinar tonight. “How to become a bestslling author, even if you can´t write”. When there were 5 minutes left, my computer broke down! I got to have my computer in order, right again Steve. Love Lena
Steve,
I could not catch the video, but could you mail me the transcript ? Would like to know your ideas for improving myself and my work.

Hi Steve,
Nice job on the (4) saboteurs, you were speaking directly to me. I’m familiar with each of them.
Great advice on how to deal with them although, a bit easier then doing it. Especially the part about taking a break and unplugging. That’s the tough part especially since I’m indispensable (in my own mind of course) that makes it very hard. I’m a small business owner and the only employee, trying to over come some past mistakes and turn my business around.
Thanks again for the topic, it did hit home.
Kindest regards,
Michael
I have been thinking about these things for the past few months and you have given me the answers I needed. Thank you so much for giving your time to do this. God bless you!!
Steve thanks for the information. I felt as if you were describing me in the saboteur segment! But I like the fact that you are also giving me a way out of the destructive qualities and a solution to a major reason why nothing I have done seems to be working. My work is cut out for me, but now I know; and knowing IS half the battle!!
Ogal
Excellent work! Thank you.
I “use” all 4 to keep myself from getting what I really want and deserve. Thank you for your help to identify them! I have plenty of work to do on this. Lyda
Hi Steve,
These are some great video you send out. Since I constantly goes from employed to unemployed, I really should have my online business. The finance is not in my hand right now.
Thanks for Sharing,
To your continue SUCCESS!!!!
Steve,
Thank you very much for reminding me about these saboteurs! I have certainly met all of them.
I am building up an online business from home and the best time to do that is during the very early morning hours when almost nobody is around and it is nice and quiet.
One major issue is to get family members to understand the need to let me work uninterrupted. It is as if there is no such thing as working from home. Since you are there you must obviously be available for whatever chit chat. I find it difficult to deal with and no explanations seem to help.
Another good one that is very intrusive is of course the mobile phone – not just my own. Everyone has one and they are ringing and beeping and what not all the time. The TV is another good one – it is on even though nobody is watching and the commercials always come on screaming even if you set the volume low – disgusting trick if you ask me.
Very good that you pointed out the need to take time-out and relax and do something completely different.
Best wishes
Rolf
Hi, Steve,
First I listened to your presentation in very much surprise .. how can I find a project on which to work for 2 hours in a row. Mission impossible ! I work with numerous clients and I need to follow up with them regularly. Unless I have face to face meetings I will spend half of the day responding to e-mails, preparing proposals, but each takes just 5-10 minutes. After reviewing the video once again, I realized .. well I know how to handle that! I book time in my planner to deal with all the proposals – just couple of hours .. probably not completely uninterrupted time, but still with list of proposals to be prepared in front of me and then go one by one couple of hours in a row. That helps.
I discovered the planner already while ago.. I inventively bought one, where there is just 1 row for each hour and so I only put so many things on my plan as many rows I have.
Steve, you make so much sense. Thank you. I am listening and learning from you.
Dear Steve, I am a single mother of two sons and two weeks ago I lost the job which I was doing so good and I loved it. I was a team leader and enjoying working with my colleagues motivating them to love the job we do and to do the best we could and to try to do it better each day…Now I sit at home and think that I lost the job because for sure there is a better one which will come to my experience soon. Until that moment I will try to develop myself more learning from people like you. I am happy for that opportunity. Thank you for all the lessons you give for free. Thank you. Big regard from Serbia.
Thank you so much. Really good and useful info. I needed to hear that!
Helpful blog, bookmarked the website with hopes to read more!
Steve you have hit the nail on the head for exactly how I have been detoured and sabataged in getting my business going. Wow! I know these things….but to hear them from someone else….thank you! i certainly will do this. As a musician i think nothing of spending 4 or 5 or even longer hours in the studio working on some complicated piece of muisc that I was tackling at the time…I love it…but I get tired…..I do the same thing with my internet business………thank you so much for putting the mirror before me. I am happy to seee how things change in the coming weeks. can[t wait to hear our next message.
Hi steve, thanxs for the video. Certainly mind chatter is my biggest challenge but will surely work on it.
So simple and so true. Just the other day I was telling my wife how I am dealing with so many projects that none is being finished. I used to be very disciplined in finishing one before starting another but now it’s gone to the cats (those who keep jumping on my desk and asking for attention when I try to work etc.)
I do well with task lists, but I see my wife who is horrible tasker and constantly stays late in school (teacher) to take care of stuff she has left from the day/week. I am making it a point to improve and am still working on her tasking abilities.
Hi Steve,
This is great info and a wonderful insight. I am in a transition phase and this is really very helpful. Thank you once again.
Regards

Hi Steve,
Just wanted to take the time to send you an email. I just finished watching your video and downloading your ebook. I loved your ideas and suggestions on conquering all inerruptions and settting up blocks of time to accomplish what needs to get accomplished. Very invaluble information. Kudos to you.
Have a very blessed day, and keep it coming!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
Cheryl
Interesting, for a large part the principles are similar as Eban Pagans Wakeup productive course.
And to think that for some time now I was fighting with the notion that I was LAZY!!!!! I am not lazy …..Hoorah!!! I am a self saboteur…Yuk!!!! but the good thing is the GUILT and CONFUSION have vanished and eagerness to set things straight has taken its place… Thank You Kind Sir.
PS.. Yes..I have heard this all before…to no avail…Why??? Process?? Delivery???
Intention??? Thank you for creating what you are creating how you are creating it.
I like the simplicity with which you express things that really become overwhelming for those of us trying to make a high quality living style from working through internet, and somehow manage to keep extremely busy with results far from those I dream. Thanks for the tip. Heidi
Hi Richar; This has been a really productive insight lesson, since most of the faulty actions ( all) you pinpoint were being done by me without really “getting it”. Thanks for your time. I’ll go back to the drawing board to redesign my action days. Have you thought about the spanish speaking market? There is room for your insight and teachings.
Steve,
Great information, as usual. I am convinced that multi-tasking is costly in many ways, usually all the things that I am attempting to accomplish turn out less well done than if I had focused on one thing at at time.
Mind chatter… yeah, that one is a serious issue, I have trouble shutting it down at times, it takes a concerted effort!
Thanks for the help. ~ Ron
Hi Steve,
Nice to meet another Bay Area Entrepreneur!
Love your video series, especially this one..
Trying to get things done while being interrupeted via Skype,SmartPhone Texting etc has often left me feeling frazzeled, tired and not accomplishing most important money making activities for the week. You in addition to 3 others I know in other lines of work all seem to perform well and all Timeblock their activities. I got to the point I had to put my phone in the other room to get things done but it sure helped!
Again, love the videos and if you plan on attending Biztech Day in San Francisco this October let me know, would love to meet you in person.
Lastly, I don’t know if your other videos are going to cover this but if not allow me to ask here. I’ve transitioned out from corporate life some time ago and am still struggling in trying to fill the “Business Social Void” of my life. In corporate life when you show up your friends are usually there, aside from marketing or meeting with new clients do you have any suggestions on this for us socially inclined folks?
Thanks,
Cheers,
Tim
Hello Steve,
We are in transition with our two home businesses because of my husband’s health. This series has been confirming much of what we’re reading elsewhere and is in a form we can use as a family. Thank you.
We’ll be in touch. Shelly
Steve,
Loved the tips! They were very insightful and thoughtful. Also appreciate the e-book so I can go back and look at the info and tips again.
Thanks, Laura
