Fascinating! I had no idea there were other biz owners going through emotional roller coaster rides like those with bi-polar, so to speak! :) Yep, we're a strange and peculiar people. I need to send you some of our store's popcorn to enjoy, in exchange for what you've been teaching. Deric Glissmeyer www.UtahKernels.com

Hi Steve,

I loved the video, but had to cut it short as the internet costs in south Africa are sky high. I will however, try to put what I have heard into practice and I thank you for the gift.

Steve,

I really enjoyed hearing Cameron Harold and his acomplishments in life.
I ariganaly started to be a real estate invester this last year but my wife
got real sick and I lost my focus. I since became unemployed but have not
lost my drive to be selfe employed. I just turned down a short haul job
macking runs from Colorado to L.A., about five day runs, because it would
interfer with a internet buisness I am getting ready to start.

Well thanks for helping me to stay focused .
Jason Davis

P.S. Unemployment is quite the roller coaster ride also, just not the right one.

Steve,
As a one man business, I have a hard time finding enough time to complete all of the work which is required to keep my clients satisfied with the services they are receiving. Any time spent on learning business procedures must be valuable enough to warrant the interruption of work flow. I also must allow for family time. This will be the case until I locate other persons interested enough in our work to realize that the most satisfaction does not come from chasing the largest pay check available rather than working at really satisfying work. Even workers with very few skills that are marketable have gotten themselves so overloaded with debt that they are unable to get by on reasonable wages until they develop the personal skills that can command a higher pay check. I can teach usable skills, I can enable coworkers to obtain very valuable licenses and certifications with little or no expense to them, but I can not pay unproductive workers until they develop the skills needed to do the required work. With more skill comes more cash flow to pay larger paychecks and I am perfectly willing to share the profits of our joint labors. I enjoyed the interview but found it a repetition of ideas which others have expressed earlier. Maybe I needed to hear them again.

It was a great pleasure listening to two of you - the interviewer and the interviewee, who were a match on a few levels.
Some valuable thoughts and a huge encouragement is a result for me from this sound-very-casual, yet, deep conversation.
Thank you, Steve, and thank you, Cameron.
